Stupid. I feel stupid. He said he was busy so I went out by myself.
I left Ground Up dahil malapit na yung pasukan. Second week of June ata yung pasukan, I have to see if tama ako, baka ma-miss out ko yung first day.
I was ready to run for it in the middle of the rain, but someone stopped me by holding my wrist.
"Really? You're gonna run in the middle of the rain? You didn't think about what could happen? You might slip or get sick." The guy said.
"Ano bang pake mo? 'Di naman ikaw yung mababasa ah?" I told him. He was Mr. Dacena. Alex Dacena, if I can recall correctly. Sinearch s'ya nila Ares at Sloane noon.
"Come with me, I'll drive you home." He said before opening an umbrella.
"What makes you think na sasama ako sa'yo pauwi? I don't even know who you are."
"And what makes you think I care whether you come with me or not?" He said and started walking away. Before he walked any further he looked back at me and asked. "So, are you coming?"
I walked beside him while he was holding the umbrella. The umbrella wasn't that wide but somehow 'di ako nababasa.
I looked at him to see how he managed to keep me dry with an umbrella this small. Napuna kong nababasa ang balikat n'ya. "Yung balikat mo nababasa, pati yung suit mo." Mukhang mamahalin yung suit n'ya kaya sinabihan ko s'ya. Though he was wearing an expensive looking suit, t-shirt lang ang panloob n'ya.
"Don't worry, I got an extra one inside my car."
He got he's keys and unlocked the doors. Isang SUV ang sasakyan n'ya. Lamborghini ang tatak.
He helped me get inside the car before he went behind the car and opened the back.
I saw him wearing a plain white t-shirt and a chain neclace. He muttered a curse the moment he saw that his t-shirt got wet as well.
"Believe me, I'm starting to regret it." He said before starting the car.
"Eh, bakit nga ba kas-"
"Do you wanna get out? Walk in the middle of the rain? Cause no one's gonna walk you back." He said while looking at me.
I decided to shut up and just opened my phone para 'di na ko makapag salita pa.
"I thought so," bulong n'ya.
He drove away and asked me where I lived, I showed him the location and sabi n'ya alam n'ya daw kung saan yon kaya hindi na ako nag abala pang mag guide sa kan'ya.
