Jay and Ares were looking out for Niel. Para makasiguradong hindi siya sumunod or something.
"Guys I'm fine, seryoso." I told them with a smile on my face.
It wasn't real though. Wala naman akong nararamdaman nang sakit, lungkot o ano sa nangyari kanina.
But somehow I know. I know that one... just one... one glimpse at Neil, and the pain will be back. It only takes one simple glimpse.
Kinukumbinsi ko parin sila nang biglang may kumatok.
Amy opened it and she was shocked to see who.
"Niel? Ang kapal mo din ano?" She said.
He... he's here.
Tears started to fall. They kept coming. Ayaw nitong tumigil sa pag tulo.
"A-Amy... I--" Niel was immediately cut off nang salubungin s'ya ni Ares ng sapak at natumba.
He looked at Niel with "YOU GOD DAMNED IDIOT! Not half a day has passed and you show your face on her door step?!" Ares shouted.
Kinaladkad niya si Niel papuntang elevator. "GET THE FUCK OUT BEFORE I KICK THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF YOU!" He shouted.
I saw a group of staff rushing towards them to check the scene. I also saw Niel go inside the elevator to leave.
Ares took a deep breath, fixed his hair and clothes, and faced the staff. "Sorry about that, ladies. Hope I didn't bother you much. Here's for the inconvenience I may or may not have given you." He gave them money and walked back to us..
Nag punta si Sloane sa tabi ko para patahanin ako. "Hush, honey. It's gonna be just fine." She escorted me to our room.
Natakot ako kay Ares. I've never seen him this furious before.
Athena looked away for a bit. "I think alam ko kung bakit s'ya galit na galit. I mean don't get me wrong. Ares is really pissed at Niel for hurting you. But he wouldn't have the guts if he isn't going through what he's going through today."
"Maganda na din na nakakapaglabas siya ng sama ng loob ngayon," Athena added.
My eyes are still tearing up. "What happened Athena?" I asked.
She was about to tell us more about it nang pumasok si Ares sa kwarto. "You girls alright?" He asked.
Natulog silang lahat sa apartment ko to keep me company. The next morning, I woke up and saw a note saying that they had to leave cause they got errands to run and had to go to work.

Niel texted me first thing in the morning...
^May klase pa 'ko, can't today.^
I replied.
He offered to pick me up from school after but I said I'd just commute.
Naawa ako so I said mag kita nalang kami sa condo ko.
"Sam, tara. Hanap na tayo nila sir." Jeremiah told me.
Right after school I went home immediately.
I saw him sitting on the floor in front of my door inside the building where I live.
I didn't talk pero sinenyasan ko siyang tumayo at sundan ako papasok.
I offered him a drink before I walked towards the balcony. There, I waited for him.
The moment I heard him open the balcony door, I asked him.
"Alam mo naman siguro na gusto kita, diba? Ano pa ba gusto mong pag usapan natin?"
I sounded desperate. I wanted to finish this conversation with him as soon as possible.
"What you saw, Sam... It's not what it looked like."
It wasn't what it looked like?!
"Not what it looked like?! Pucha. Then what the hell was that, Niel?! Nagmumukha na akong tanga, kasi sino ba naman ako para mag selos at magalit dahil lang may kahalikan kang iba?" I shouted.
"I told you. Sam, please let--" I cut him off. "Hindi, eh! Hindi yun yung punto ko. Sino ba ako para maging dahilan diyan sa mga pasa at mga sugat mo sa mukha?" I shouted. Tears started to fall from my eyes.
"Wala akong karapatang mag selos kasi mahal lang kita--" he held my hand to cut me off.
"Please... S-she made the move. I never wanted anyone else since the day I met you." He told me. Tumingin siya mga mata ko. Nagsimula na din tumulo ang mga luha niya.
"Simply being around other girls felt like a sin. H-hindi na tama. Right then and there... I knew... I knew I loved you..." He told me.
I looked at him and then looked away.
"Napaka sinungaling mo din eh, no?" I said. He was shocked. Bumitaw ako sa pagkakahawak niya sa kamay ko. "Napaka sinungaling mo."
"What?" He asked in confusion. "If being around other girls felt like a sin to you, why would you let a girl get close enough for her to be able to kiss you?" I asked him.
His tears started to drop. "She was my assistant, for God's sake! I asked her to tell me my schedule for today. And she did. So I told you I was busy for the day. I was supposed to pick you up cause you called. But my phone died, I wasn't able to call you back. Next thing I knew she kissed me and you were there." He explaned.
I don't wanna buy it. At that moment I knew...
I leaned forward on the railings and looked at the night sky. "I thought I loved you, turns out I never did. Paghanga, oo, but nothing more than that. Ngayon lang ako natauhan." I told him and looked back at him.
He held my hand. "I'm sorry, Sam. Please, give me--?"
"It... it's getting late, Niel." I cut him off and smiled sadly. "You better go. I... Pagod na din kasi ako, eh." I said and pulled my hand away.
"I understand, Sam." He said, while walking back. While walking his way towards the front door he told me something.
"I want to try again. Tomorrow... We'll meet for the first time once more. We'll start over." He said. Then left my condo with his head up high.
Even though he was rejected, he never failed to hold his head up high.
Now I remember why I liked you.
