MG went rabid. Tearing and ripping through every human he saw and in less than 5 minutes the entire party was gone. Blood was spilled everywhere, death was roaming everywhere and where was Jade you ask? She was recording. The vampire herself was awed at the scene before her and deep down, she knew the human side of her would be scared and turned on at the same time.

Jade herself fed, completely careless of the consequences that would ensue once the day rose. Instead, she danced to the broken music behind the screams, grinning to herself. She always loved it when they screamed. It was a sheer satisfaction, especially to hear that scream die once she sunk her teeth into them.

MG dropped bodies on top of bodies, not ever stopping. He was growling and snarling, face soaked with human blood. Jade snaked her way towards him, laughing into the night. "You see? You feel so much better." He grunted his approval and let her grab his face. "This is much better than that boring MG everyone loves to hurt."

She sloppily connected their lips, mostly trying to suck the blood from his teeth and continued to sway to the music.

"They never deserved us anyway," she mumbled and continued to feed.

Ric tapped the front desk, grabbing the attention of the blonde receptionist at the hospital. "Hey. I need your help. Mind pointing me to where..." he glanced at his sheets. "Doctor Chelon is?"

She began typing at her computer. "Do you have an appointment?"

"I didn't know I need one," he asked with his brows creased.

"Sorry, she's had a busy schedule—"

"But I'm sure I can fit some time for this man," a feminine voice said from behind Ric and he turned to meet the hazel-haired woman. She seemed around his age and she was wearing an all-white coat with her hair tied back.

Ric nodded to the receptionist and approached the doctor, shaking her hand. "Alaric Saltzman, Ric for short."

"Seylah. How can I help you, Ric?" She questioned as they began to walk down an empty hall.

He adjusted the papers in his hands. "I just wanted to ask you a couple of questions. You were the doctor in charge of Mason Hayes's fatal accident? It says here that the wounds inflicted by the crash were impossible if not deadly. Unless you have some sort of godly talent, would you tell me what you did?"

She chuckled. "Nothing a couple of years of medical school couldn't fix."

Ric narrowed his eyes and scoffed. "What about Jade Patel? Same situation, doctors claimed she died but by the next morning she was fine. Do you have some sort of magical capabilities?" He joked.

Seylah did not smile. Instead, she lowered her voice. "Look, I don't know what you think you know but you don't want to dig further down this rabbit hole. You'll only end up hurt."

"I appreciate your concern, doctor, but I came here for answers. You'd be surprised by how much I know."

She sighed, shaking her head. "I have a patient waiting, turns out my schedule is as busy as I thought it was. See you around, Mr. Saltzman." Seylah began to walk away, her coat flying behind her.

"You used vampire blood," Ric called and her footsteps halted. "You hoped it would heal them but they died."

She slowly turned around and swallowed deep. She took a deep breath and muttered, "He was so young. So reckless. I thought I could...fix things." Seylah was referring to Mason. She laughed. "And when she showed up with an OD case..." The doctor shook her head. "I immediately recognized Jade from Mason's crash. I couldn't let her do that to herself, couldn't let such a young life end it so soon. So as they were pumping her stomach, I slipped it in."

Ric nodded with understanding. "I see your perspective. But your choices are going to breed all sorts of monsters Mystic Falls is not ready for. Don't overuse it."

"I try not—" she stopped talking.

Ric's eyes shrank. "Seylah?" He took a couple of steps forward, wondering why she was frozen and mute. "Dr. Che—"

MG was standing behind her, mouth latched unto her neck. The woman was unconscious, body sagging over his as he fed.

He reacted rapidly, pulling out a metal baton from his suit jacket to throw at MG. The vampire saw the advance much quicker and flitted away before it found its mark. Seylah dropped to the floor, neck leaking and Ric bolted to her, checking her pulse. Thankfully, it was faint but still pumping.

He glanced around the empty hospital hallways and cursed. He pulled out his phone and dialled a number. "Dorian. You and Caroline need get to the hospital ASAP. I think MG flipped his switch."
