James approached us and although my head was still aching as if I had a siren blaring inside, Lily convinced me I had to go to training as she would not let us lose against Slytherin in the quidditch finals. Lily decided to watch saying that if she did that we would still technically be spending time together.
I changed quickly, as the rest of the team were already pissed about how late I was, I felt like a dick for stalling them now. When we were all in the sky I realised how much I missed playing quidditch. Even just doing laps around the pitch because being able to get up in the air was great. It was tiring though so I was constantly using my shirt to wipe away the sweat in my face, and all the boys had gotten rid of their shirts half-way through practise. When it came to scoring points I decided to dedicate a few.
"To my favourite, ginger," I screamed, getting the goal past one of the Prewett's, then it was "To the babe who's cheering me on in the crowd," then, "To my favourite cheerleader," by the end of it Lily gave me a less than pleasant hand gesture, but she couldn't hide her laughter.
I took off my own shirt after a while, and threw it at Lily, who was disgusted by my sweaty shirt. We got into a match scenario, I hit a few balls into a few of my team members which felt wrong. That's when I heard it a whistle, I spun my head around before looking at the ground. It was a thirteen year old Ravenclaw boy with blonde locks, I sent the blubber to his feet giving him the scare of his life. He screamed like a goat.
James came up to my side, "You're evil," he smirked
"The worst," I replied shoving James' shoulder
"You know love, you do look great,"
"So do you, Lily thinks you look great," I said, grimacing
"We are never getting back together are we," he asked
"I already gave you that answer,"
"Yeah, but I didn't believe you and I think you like me, it's something in my brain as if I've forgotten it,"
"Forget it," shit shit shit, I did obliviate right
"Oh right because you have Rosier,"
"I do, and you have Emily, Amalya, Charlotte. S, Charlotte. E. Should I continue,"
"I don't expect to marry any of them,"
"Get over it little boy, one of my parents is dead, the other wants to use me to become minister of magic,"
"I didn't-,"
"It's been over a year, you don't know half my shit anymore,"
"Tell me then,"
Soon Quidditch was over, and Lily and I were back in our dorm. "Have you gotten out of bed today?" I asked Remus who was still curled up in the covers, now reading.
"No, has Sirius,"
"He hasn't either," Lily answered, rather abrupt
Mocks were so close now, and Sirius hasn't left his room all week. Remus seemed a little better, but I knew that he wasn't. I decided to check on Sirius as I was getting nowhere with Remus.
I knocked on the door, "Remus, is that you," Sirius called, calmly
"No," I replied
"Piss off,"
"Sirius, would you rather I didn't tell him,"
"You're a shit sister,"
"Stop being a self-righteous prick,"
"Come in,"
The boy grumbled. Sirius was in his bed, the boy had stubble on his face which I thought was impossible for him to grow but I suppose he just shaved, his hair was disheveled he hadn't run a comb through it all week, his under eyes were black and the tissue box beside him was empty.
