CHAPTER 32: The Last Blow

Crizten's POV

MY smile didn't fade as I keep on swaying my newly born armor. This is what she meant when she say those things yesterday.

I've never thought that it could be this strong. Every swing I make, it produce a series of hard and full of thorns type of winds. And I am not sure if it is enough to describe how strong it attacks could be.

The old Exeter no longer exist. The color, the weight and even the size drastically change. And the Ruyi Jingu Bang was reborn again. When I first saw and touch it, it has no color. It was transparent. It doesn't weight too much. It weight less than the weight of the tiger but weight more than a feather. It was two meters long and was a foldable stick.

But now, since it has reborn as Ruyi Jingu Bang, all of its features change. From being two meters, it became five meters long. From being transparent, it change to gold. On each side, the size become bigger than the usual size on the middle. On the both side, a double head dragon was engraved. Just like the color on its middle, it was golden.

Not only that. It also gains weight.

“What are you doing?” Again, a long and strong series of wind send chills not only on me but to Chino who is standing beside me.

“What on fuck was that wind?”

“That's the power he possessed back then.” Lumingon ako sa kanya saka ngumiti. Kahit nagtataka ay gumanti sya ng ngiti.

“Gotten enough rest?” tanong ko saka tumalikod at nagsimulang maglakad ulit papasok  sa tenthouse.

“Well, I don't think I should call that a rest.” sagot nya. Ngumiwi ako saka sya nilingon.

“And why is that?”

“Having someone precious to you getting killed right in front of your eyes. How could I have a nice rest?” pabalik nyang tanong. Bumuntonghininga ako.

“And that's why I told you to rest,” saad ko saka sya tinulak papasok ng tenthouse. “You need to rest your mind if you want to avenge Kuya. If we want to avenge them, then we should rest.”

“How about you? Why are you not resting?” tanong nya.

“Besides I could not be more calm like this. I met my father, afterall.”

“Your father?”

Tumango ako saka tumingala. “I met him in my dream.”

“What was his name?” tanong nya.

“Vlode. Vlode Gueverra,” sagot ko. Napansin ko ang pagkunot ng noo nya.

“Why does it feels like I knew him before you even introduce him to me?” tanong nya. Napatingin ako sa kanya saka mahinang natawa.

“Of course you know him. He was Vloderence Liverd afterall.” saad ko dahilan para bahagyang lumaki ang mga mata nya sa gulat. Dahil sa reaksyon nyang iyon ay tuluyan na akong tumawa ng malakas. “That's right. I met my father on my dream. Fortunately, it was Mr. Vloderence Liverd.” saad ko.
