To say the casino was alive was an understatement. There were tons of practically everything you could expect in a casino. Additionally, servers were walking around with glasses of champagne on their trays. Yelling, cheering, and singing was filling the entire floor. And this is just the first floor. I can't imagine what's happening on the other floors.
"So can someone tell me why Captain Rogers was invited to this?" I say into the comm piece while taking a glass of champagne from a server.
"They knew he would eventually come after them, so they decided to invite him instead. Most likely to bribe him with something to get him to switch sides," replies Grace.
I walk through the floor, sweeping and taking note of my surroundings. It's the inner agent in me that I once was. It felt right and it fucking felt great. A lady starts happily yelling at a slot machine. I'm assuming she won something. I don't know man. I'm more of a drinker than a gambler. It's the poison I choose, at least.
"Easy on the drinking, Faye. We're here on a mission, not to enjoy ourselves." Kris says
"Who says I can't do both?" I reply with a sass to my voice. I walk towards the bar and search for a male bartender. Maybe I can finesse myself a free drink. I lock eyes on a bartender and I can see he takes a big gulp before he realized I was walking towards him.
"Hi there. What can I get for you?" He says while checking me out. I know it should bother me, but it makes me feel even better about myself, not to be cocky.
"A shot of tequila with a dash of salt and a lime, please," I say with a sultry voice. I notice the beads of sweat rushing down his temples. Men, so fucking gullible. It only takes a push up bra and a sexy voice or whatever to get them going. He sets everything in front of me, slightly shaking. Do I really make people this nervous?
Nah.
"It's on the house," he replies. I send a flirty smile and slip a $20 into his jacket pocket. Man, I'm so fucking good at this. Before I take the shot, I notice a dirty blonde approach me.
Oh shit.
"Incoming at your 10 o'clock, Faye," someone says over the comms and I quickly turn off my microphone to prevent them from hearing me flirting with the Captain.
"Never have I ever met a woman who willingly takes a shot of tequila," the Captain says with a sultry voice. I turn my head to him and notice his trailing eyes go from my thigh, to my hips, slightly to my back, and back to my brown eyes.
"Well, I guess you've never met a real woman before." I try to reply back as sexy yet as calm as I could.
Keep your cool. You are cool, cool, cool.
"Not until tonight." He replies back. I can't help but blush at his comment. This man knows what to say and at the right time.
I wonder what more he could do.
I maintain eye contact with him while I take my shot, never leaving his eyes. I purposefully put the lime in my mouth and try to be as cool and sexy as I could do. What am I doing to myself?
Just let yourself have fun.
I begin to slowly walk away, trying to add a dramatic effect. Suddenly, his hand grabs mine.
"I'm Steve. It's nice to meet you," as he brings my hand up to his lips and leaves a small, yet enticing kiss on it.
Shit, shit, shit.
"I know you are," I reply with a smirk. I let go of his hand and walk away from him. His face lets out a confused look and his pupils dilate.
"I never got your name!" He says as the distance between us furthers.
"You will soon."
