*heavy sigh*

Wei Ying stared at the drug, listening to Wen Qing's counsel. It was formulated in a rush, under pressure. If they were going to fool Wen Xu then they didn't have much time.

Wen Qing, "Wei Ying, omegas will feel the need to mate with their partners during the first few weeks of gestation, but in your case, we're going to manipulate your body to go into the full phase of heat. It took time to figure this out but I've managed to create a drug that could ease the pain and mimic the kind of fluids you have to produce when meeting your actual mate. The side effects may include hallucination, dizziness and numbness, nothing you can't handle. Since you'll be the first person to try it, I'm giving you the minimal dose."

"...Ok, but...will it affect my pup?", Wei Ying's brow knitted.

" Ive taken extra care that it won't affect the child.", Wen Qing assured him.

"Okay, then...do what you must. That bastard already took me, it won't make much difference now.", Wei Ying answered casually.

Out of sight, Wen Qing dunked a foreign pill in the solution before walking to the omega, "Drink it.", she said. Wei Ying obliged, keeping his fingers crossed as he gulped down the blue liquid.

"Do you feel anything yet?", Wen Qing waited for the estimated effects to kick in.

"No... I don't feel any t...Ah...Shit.", A burning sensation spread through Wei Ying's veins within seconds.

" It's starting, hold him down A'Ning.", Wen Qing instructed as Wei Ying went into shock, convulsing and gnashing his teeth. His body became stiff.

"It'll be okay Wei Ying, hold on for a few more seconds...that's it.", Wen Qing took his hand to encourage. Wei Ying struggled to look at her, biting his tongue as he works on his breathing.

The female eased her grip when the shallow breaths turned heavy. She could tell his heart had slowed down and his temperature was dropping gradually. Soon Wei Ying's eyes became dilated and he started giving off sweet pheromones.

"It worked...He's going into heat.", Wen Qing made eye contact with her brother. "Should I get Wen Xu?", Wen Ning asked timidly.

"No, it just began. Let him be for a few more hours."

"But...he'll suffer if we leave him like this.", Wen Ning gave his sister a questioning look.

"A'Ning, I know what I'm doing.", Wen Qing focussed on the omega.

Wen Xu was caught in an argument with his father and brother when a servant pleaded for audience, saying it was important that he spoke to the future sect leader.

"What is it?", Wen Ruohan's voice boomed. The servant fell on her face, trembling.

"My liege, the message I carry is sensitive. It's meant for the ears of the future Sect Leader.", the servant trembled in fear but did her job. Wen Xu guessed right away that it had to do with his wife. "Go ahead, there are no secrets in this place.", He answered.

The servant raised her head then lowered it again. She was confused, how does one announce that an omega needed to be serviced in front of a crowd. "It's your wife Master Xu. He's in heat."

The room went silent.

"Well, it's urgent then...", Wen Xu failed at hiding a smile. It made Wen Chao cringe. Wen Ruohan was quiet until his first son raised a brow at him. He waved a hand, "Go on then...Dont just swing your hips when you see him, be fruitful.", He threw that advice in the air as Wen Xu strouted out of his study.
