Nie Minjue slowed down when he reached his doorstep. "A'Yao.", A smile spread across his face. His love interest had appeared without notice.

Minjue took a glance at his watch as he drew closer. It was 11:15 PM and that did not look good, considering he was in Jiang Cheng's room just a while ago. 'Oh God, dont let him notice.', Minjue kept his composure amid uneasy thoughts.

"I've been here for hours. Why didnt you pick my calls?", MengYao got off the stairs, wiping off any dirt on his palm. From the first hug that night the omega thought there was something off. Why did Minjue return at such an hour, smelling like someone else- an omega to be precise.

The tension in the alpha's smile made his suspicion stronger, Minjue is not one to grin so broadly...But MengYao has always been good at hiding his distrust and uncertainty; a bad effect of his mother's ideology of a perfect wife.

The omega kissed Minjue passionately, albeit the fact that he hated the sweet smell on his neck. "Mnnn, A'Yao, it's cold outside. Why didnt you wait inside?", Minjue lifted him off the ground.

"I got bored doing that...But now that you're here, it's only right you appease me. Why dont you let the servants make something delicious so you can feed me."

"Uhm, I love that idea, but isn't it a little late for a snack?", Minjue said with a wry grin. It made MengYao incline his head with a hint of surprise. "Nie Minjue, did you forget about my chart? I could go into heat any moment from now, who cares about a late-night snack. Are you mocking me now?"

"Arhh, sorry...I've been caught up in a lot lately. Let's get you something light for, mn?"

"Okay...but you have to hold me tighter tonight or I will get grumpy in the morning.", the omega's dimples sank in more as he rubbed noses with the alpha.

"Dont be naughty now...Is Coco asleep?", Minjue searched the ground for the dog.

"No, I left him over at my mother's. I need to be alone with you, undisturbed. Can you put your meetings on hold for the next few days?"

"I can't promise that my love. How about this, I'll only leave if it's an emergency." Nie Minjue pecked the man on the cheek as he took steps forward."Okay.", the omega pushed the door and wrapped his arms around the alpha's neck.

Wei Ying was minding his own business when Wen Xu entered with a cheerful mood. Wen Qing had convinced the alpha to give Wei Ying resting days to keep him healthy and the love crazed Wen Xu obeyed. The omega's mind was far off, he didnt hear the alpha calling and was rather startled when Wen Xu snuck upon him with a hug.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?"

"I guess I did.", Wei Ying shut his eyes as he sighed.

"Mnn, splendid. I've come to take you out for the weekend. I was thinking a day at the stables or going site seeing would be good for you. I've prepared a penthouse in the city. We get to live like ordinary people for three days.", Wen Xu kissed the nape of his wife's neck.

" I don't feel like mounting a horse. Sightseeing is fine as long as it's not in a burial mound.", Wei Ying answered.

"No my love.", Wen Xu went around to stand in front of him, "Father only did that to jumpstart your abilities. I would never do anything to harm you, neither will I give that chance to anyone else.", Wen Xu caressed his face.
