Burry The Past.

Days ago...

Wei Ying did all he could to make sure Wen Xu would be kept busy; too busy to come to his room in the day or to check up on his son. Wen Ning was his pawn this time, the one that changed the Sect Leader's schedules when no one was watching. 

When the coast was clear, Wei Wuxian got into a car and drove off with his men. Had he stepped out alone, his husband's second in command would have been informed. He had his men park a block from the actual building Lan Wangji was kept- a bold risk. 

Xue Yang was expecting him. It didnt take much time for the alpha to notice his image on the computer. 

When Wei Ying entered, his nostrils were almost overwhelmed by the presence in the room. Lan Wangji went to him in a heartbeat, but first things first; Wei Ying had to speak to the host- alone. 

"Can you get him to QingheNie?"

"If you buy him a coffin I can guarantee that.", Xue Yang leaned on the handrail at the balcony.

"A coffin is too much, dont you think?"

"Depends, Ive always wanted to see that jade of yours burn in one. But now there's also Wen Xu."

"Pfft...", Wei Ying joined him, gazing at the city view. 

"How's your baby, is he like his father?", Xue Yang was being smart and Wei Ying could tell. "No, fortunately, he has his mother's eyes and hands that Wen Xu can compare to his own. He is perfect."

" Is Wen Xu really the father of your son or is this another tragic story in the making?"

"*Sigh*...I am done being the victim Chengmei. If I have to be the monster to keep my son and...", He paused then lowered his eyes after a while. "...I will do what it takes without a second thought."

"I see...So what happens to your jade then?"

"Hah... I dont know, it's complicated. Xue Yang, can I still count on your support?"

"Do I have to justify that with an answer? Last time I checked I was not a fair-weather friend."

Wei Ying's smile faded after a while."...You're the smartest person I know, what would you have me do about Wangji? I know he won't accept what I truly want to say." Wei Ying pulled away from the bannister.

Xue Yang's gaze followed him. He didnt feel sorry for the jade but his friend was only falling deep into misery and he could feel it. "A'Ying, do you love him as much or are we still on that crap about bonds?", 

"Pfft...I dont need a bond to love him do I?"

"Then why dont you find a way to be with him? Or has Wen Xu grown on you as well?", it was a question Wei Ying always assumed he could answer easily but he stalled."...There is someone else I care about more than my own life or Wangji's. So it has to stay that way.", Wei Ying said.

Xue Yang walked up to him in all seriousness. Lifting a hand he demonstrates the structured writing for a talisman. "If you want Wangji so much I can help you kill Wen Xu...Im not so much into charms but in the meantime this may just be what you need to get Wangji off your back. It will make him forget what you need him to."

"Im not trying to wipe his memory."

"You won't, it'll just be locked deep inside his head, where he can't reach them...Make sure he does not set eyes on you for a while after the spell is cast. But be careful, put too much energy and he may not even recognize you."
