THE GAME

Jaded

Wei Ying took off his coat as he entered the bedroom. Another long day of work had gone by successfully. The cuffs went off after switching on the lights yet he only notices the figure in a corner after putting them away.

"Wen Xu...why are you sitting in the dark. Is something wrong?", There was tension in the way the alpha looked at him. "Did anything happen?", Wei asked when no answer came.

"...Are we still pretending?", Wen Xu let out a deep gruff.

"Pfft, what are you saying?", Wei Ying laughs it off as he takes off his tie. Seriousness hit him when Wen Xu rose from the seat with a tone Wei Ying was not used to.
" After all these years, have I been so blind to believe that there was something between us, that we care about each other as a family should."

"Wen Xu..."

"Was it that easy to betray me?"

"...", At this point, Wei Ying was unsure of the actual secret the alpha had found out. Does it have to do with their son? Or is...

"...Strip."

"What?"

"I said to take off your damn clothes and bare out your neck. Probably a thousand bites will keep you from forgetting that we're married."

Wei Ying took some steps towards the alpha with a grim look on his face. "Touch me like this, and I will knock your teeth out...", Something was wrong, Wei Ying could feel it.

Wen Xu accepted the challenge, aggressively marching toward the lotus. Wei Ying was so startled by the advance that he threw his fist right into the alpha's jaw.

Watching Wen Xu wipe the blood off his lips made Wei Ying alert. He didn't want it to come to this.

*growl* Wen Xu came at him again, far more ferocious than before. Somehow his red eyes make Wei Ying shiver and move back. Wen Xu did not budge from getting slapped but when he grabs his mate by the collar and lifts a fist in the air, the omega turns pale...

Wei Ying's gaze grew wide with shock. The Wen Xu he was used to would never lay a hand on him, not even with his record of being stubborn, disrespectful and rude toward the alpha.

Wen Xu had stopped himself this time. The look in the omega's eyes may have done it- he had promised to always keep that face bright, not scared and disappointed.

"A'Xu...", Wei Ying's tone changed as Wen Xu let go of his shirt.

"You are forbidden from leaving this room. I do not care for any excuse and you're not allowed to see my son either.", He said with a pained look on his face.

"What kind of silly joke is this, how can you punish me without saying what I did wrong?!"

"You don't know what you did wrong?... Fine, I'll jog your memory.", Wen Xu drops a brown envelope at the omega's foot."

Wei Ying swallowed his spit after picking up the item. His eyes fall to Wen Xu remorsefully. "You had me followed?", his throat almost gave out.

" If I had you followed, wouldn't you know?... I gave you an inch of freedom, and you forgot your place.", Wen Xu glared. Boiling with anger he strode toward the exit.

"Wen Xu I can explain, it's not what you think!", the omega goes after him just as he gets to the door.

"...Yeah, I bet it's not.", Wen Xu glances at his partner before shutting the door.

"Wen Xu...Wen Xu! Please stop...please don't hurt anyone!", Wei Ying bangs at the door, shaking the knob. But it was locked...
