Unexpected Reality

The school gate opened just before the bell tolled. Students rushed out, thrilled to go home after a not so tedious but draining day.
A'Jing passed by her locker to shove in two textbooks before heading out.

"Hey, Xiao Jing.", A young man chased her just after she crossed the yard, heading for the parking lot. The teenager slowed down when she saw the person; a boy from the next class, Aiden Wang.

" Hi...", he extended his hand cheerfully.

The young girl inclines her head. Considering the rumours floating around, she wondered why this alpha approached her in the open.

The last time an alpha misbehaved around her, Xue Yang went on a rampage; terrorizing the culprit and his family. A few broken bones here and there to set the records straight shook the entire school.

No one messed with the new girl again.

"Hello...", Xiao Jing brushed her long hair over her ears.

" I'm Aiden..."

"I know who you are, get to the point."

"Sorry...I was hoping we could be friends.", He said politely, pulling up his backpack as it drooped down his shoulder.

"Have you not heard? I have a scary brother. Do you wanna die?!", Jing folded her arms with her brows furrowed.

The boy grinned, "I like dangerous brothers. Are you free on Saturday?... I'd like to take you to the movies if that's okay."

"Huh?"

"I'm a recessive, so you don't have to worry about me going feral. And I'll take more suppressants if you're still uncomfortable.", Aiden pitched.

" Oookay, I'm gonna have to discuss it with my brother first."

"Then I'll wait for your reply tomorrow, during lunchtime."

"Alright, bye then.", Jing smirked faintly.

"Bye.", the boy nods as he runs along. Xiao Jing stared in his direction until she caught a figure in dark shades, waving at her.

She rolls her eyes then sighs, walking toward her supposed dangerous brother.

"Who was that?", Xue Yang asked as he hands a helmet to Xiao Jing.

" Pfft! Just some guy from class. He asked me out."

"Look at you, scoring dates. I guess you enjoy me beating people up for you...he seems like a good kid.", Xue Yang helps smoothen her hair to get the protective gear on.

"Yeah yeah, you're only saying that because you couldn't smell much of him...He's recessive."

"Ohh, I like recessives. They're almost toothless. You have my support."

"What? Eww no...If I'm gonna say yes you have to help me scare the shit out of him... Anyway, I want a sundae. Why'd you take this, where's the car?", the girl climbed the bike.

"Stop talking...We'll get the sundae and then head home. I have dinner reservations with your brother so better eat fast.", The alpha brought the bike to life with a simple switch. Jing held on to him as he wheeled out of the school.

A'Jing settles in a seat to enjoy a banana split sundae. Xue Yang goes for a simple strawberry milkshake and a bagel.
"So are you gonna ask Xingchen out tonight?... You know he likes you.", the girl asked after the first taste.

"Pfft, aren't you being nosy?"

"Im serious, he likes you...I see the way he acts around you. I thought you were evil at first, but you've won me over. So I'll let you in on a secret."
