Five Years Later...

The years went by like a breeze for some folks. To others, it seemed like forever. Yet no matter the case, it was still unbelievable that the Cultivational Clans were able to maintain peace and order. Leaders were on guard in the beginning when the treaty was signed...but they had been given no room to doubt that Wen Xu is not like his missing father.

Wei Wuxian became the most revered omega in their world and his influence spread to the tiniest seed in the lands.

With his husband's support, the omega acquired higher education and received training on how to rule by his side.

Wen Xu did not hold him back when he began inventing spirit tools that became a sensation in QishanWen's research facilities or a strong activist who stood to protect the weaker genders...

Imagine people not needing cultivators every day to get rid of paranormals, and omegas not being afraid to fight back and protect themselves. Of course, some opposed the methods, saying it was evil but others who had reaped of it praised his mechanisms. It was no surprise that the younger generation looked up to Wei Ying...

(The Phoenix Hall...)

"Roar!"

"Ahhh...Mummy!", the cry of a child resonated in the hallways, followed by the booming noise his father made. The servants had to make way as their Young Master flew by them hysterically. It was funnier seeing the adult creeping behind him like a fierce corpse.

"Stop it father, I dont have my sword...!"

"A good cultivator does not need his sword to battle a corpse...I'm gonna eat you now!"

"EEEEEeee!", The boy screamed and run faster.

"Roarr, gotcha!!", Wen Xu snatched the kid off the ground as soon as he went past the door to the Study. Their voices caused a man behind his desk to rub the point between his brows. How was he going to get any work done with the never-ending playtime between father and son?

"MUMMY...!"

"For heaven's sake can you two keep it down!... You have acres of land to play with and this is where you choose to come?", Wei Ying sighed helplessly. The culprits stopped almost at once.

"*Sniff...sniff*...", the boy thought his mother would be happy to see him.

"Oh no, Wen Yuan...", Wei Ying got out of his seat feeling apologetic for startling the boy. " Your FATHER should have taken you to that huge playground he built just for you outside.", Wei Ying scowled at Wen Xu.

"A'Ying, you've been in the study for hours. You owe our boy a play day.", Wen Xu argued his case.

"Didnt we do that last week?"

"You ditched in the middle of tag because you suddenly had an epiphany to make your spiritual compass. You're so busy it makes me wonder who the Sect Leader of QishanWen is."

"Well...", Wei Ying had to face the wrath of a pouty four-year-old. "Aish Wen Xu, stop making me look bad."

"I'm not doing anything, I'm just the fun parent."

"Pfft! What?"

"You heard me, Wen Yuan called me the cool dad...Isn't that right son..* Wen Yuan nods*"

"There is no way you could be more fun than me.", Wei Ying ruffled his hair. Over the years he decided to wear it short.

"Wanna bet?...", Wen Xu's face suddenly went blank.

"Fine, I'll take any challenge you give me....", Wei Ying knitted his brow.
