Hi there, I hope you dont mind another long chapter💜

Wei Ying P.O.V
Revenge...Justice...Power.
Can I say I understand those words? *Sigh* nothing makes sense anymore. How do I fix this mess?
I thought revenge was complete when Wen Chao died...that I appeased my late parents' souls.Generally getting justice should have followed... Not just for myself but everyone that lost their lives in this brouhaha.
Do I just kill Wen Xu and end it all? It's the easiest path to choose but deep down I dont want to. Not with the way Wen Yuan looks at him.Power, I knew I had. But sometimes having the strongest core in a room does not make you powerful. I guess at a point I accepted your vision for us, Wen Xu...I wanted to be Mother Wen. I wanted Wen Yuan to be your heir, above every Sect and Cultivator. I want him to be untouchable, defying all odds and making the call. I dont trust anyone else to do that but you. Not even Hanguangjun.
*Snicker* I suppose Lan Wangji also has a point, I did it for the demons inside me. The one's that consider Wen Xu an ally. The next time we cross paths, we may not see eye to eye because I can't give him Wen Yuan just like that.
When I got home, there was some commotion... There was a lot of commotion.
But I walked in lazily, turning a blind eye to everyone that crouched in fear and relief for my return.
I marched myself to the Clan Leader's quarters like this. Wen Yuan had his head on his father's lap then.Wen Xu could not wake him to scold me, even with that frown on his face. So I took off my coat, ignored his anger and lay on his left side, fixing my head on the other thigh.
After a long period of glaring at me, his hand crawled up my cheek, as if to find out if I was okay. Running away must have startled him.
Pouting my lips, I kissed his hand in response...then closed my eyes so he would put me to sleep.(P.O.V ended)

Lan Xichen was upset. Jiang Cheng did not know how to get rid of this new anger toward his inlaws and decided that maybe it would be best to spend some time in his Sect.
"I'm taking Lan Jingyi with.", Jiang Cheng had packed whatever he felt he would need when Xichen got home.
"Please understand me, right now I can't stand seeing your parents...Besides, I shouldn't continue to burden my sister by making her run the Sect.", Jiang Cheng was gentle."If youre moving to Yunmeng then I'm coming with you.", Lan Xichen scowled.
" You're needed here.", Jiang Cheng gave him a playful hit on the cheek. "Who said you could act so cute with me. Don't make me hate you too."
"Pumpkin..."
" Pfft...hey, stop acting childish. It's not a divorce, I'm just moving out. Come find me when youre less busy.", Jiang Cheng held him tight. "And do not tell Jingyi till tomorrow, else he'll cry us to death."
"Okay...I love you.", Xichen buried his nose in the crevice of the omega's neck.
" I know.", Jiang Cheng rubbed Xichen's back, petting him like a puppy. The omega had become Xichen's emotional support ever since he became Sect Leader. Having him gone would be hard.
*
Lan Wangji ended his trip abruptly, refuelled with anger. Pomped with adrenaline, he refused to let himself be manipulated. If Wei Ying wants him to go feral, to rip his son away, he will. Most importantly he wanted the omega
to taste a similar misery.
