Chapter title credit;
"Kids In The Dark" - All Time LowThe next chapter (twelve) is going to be private due to the "content" in it. So I'll be putting the important parts into chapter thirteen as a recap for those of you that can't read it.
JACK
"I'll prove it to you then." She grabbed my hand and took me back into the living room.
"Alex, can I talk to you?" She asked Alex, which was currently bickering with Lisa.
What is she going to do?
"Yeah, sure." He said and walked towards Leah and I.
"I want you to know that the kiss didn't mean anything. It was simply a game and nothing more." She said confidently even though I know that she didn't want to tell him because it would hurt his feelings. "Okay, yeah. I know." He looked at his feet and shoved his hands in his front pockets before walking back to Lisa.
She turned around. "Do you believe me now?"
"Leah, you didn't have to do that."
"You wouldn't have believed me if I didn't." She said. "Jack, listen. There's no one I want to be with but you. No best friend that has feelings for me nor a spin the bottle game can change that."
"I believe you, it just hurts seeing you kissing another guy. Game or not, it's the same." I've never liked talking about feelings like this but I just decided to tell her so she knows how I feel and that I do believe her.
She took one of her hands and cupped my cheek. "I understand and I would feel the same way if it were you with a girl. So no more spin the bottle. Okay?"
I nodded and she smiled. She removed her hand from my cheek and interwined both of them with mine. "Can I have a kiss?" She puckered her lips playfully which made me laugh.
I gave her a quick peck on the lips and looked at the clock. It was now 4:30 PM.
"Hey Jack, could we spend the night?" Cherry asked. She obviously didn't ask Zack if he wanted to because of his facial expression but he went with it anyway. "Sure." I said and sat down on the couch with Leah, who refuses to let go of my hand.
"What about us?" Cassadee asked. "Unless you guys want to sleep in the same guest room, then yes, you can also sleep over." I said. "I'm just joking." Cassadee laughed.
--------------
Everyone left but Zack and Cherry at 8 o'clock.
They went to the guest room while Leah and I went into our rooms.
Around 11:40 PM, Leah came into my room with a disgusted look on her face.
"What's up?" I said. "Cherry and Zack are having sex and I'm not joking. I didn't even know they were together." She crawled onto the bed and sat next to me.
"You had to have known that they were going to get together one day."
"I guess I did."
I glanced at her and she looked different. Not like her usual happy self.
"Are you okay?" I asked. "I don't know." She shrugged and I looked at her suspiciously. She sighed. "I feel lonely. Like I did back in high school. I know. 'Just let it go already', but I can't. Something's always there to remind me no matter how hard I try and I don't mean to be a drama queen but it's just.. ugh." She covered her face with her hands.
I put my arm around her and pulled her into my side.
"This is gonna be weird. But what was your first time like?"
