LEAH

I was filled with guilt for what I said to Alex, but all of it was true. He needed to move on. I saw how he looked at Jack and I. It was like just by standing there together it tore him apart. I know how it is and holding on for too long will change you. Not for the better either.

It's like holding onto a picture even though it's ripped and water stained and only you can see the image.

I just hope it's not too late for him.

ALEX

I felt inhuman. All emotions and feelings I had were gone. They were replaced by the new ones.

My brain didn't care who the person was to me. My mom, dad, best friend, no one. The only emotion I knew was complete hate and bitterness.

I stood up and walked back to studio.

"Let's get this over with." I said as I pushed the door open. Everyone looked at me surprised.

I started writing whole songs and titling them in my head. Not just one or two, there was five.

"I have five songs to sing. I suggest you guys start writing your parts while I record and edit it."

"Usually we listen to you first then you help us get an idea of how you want us to play our instruments." Rian furrowed his eyebrows.

"Well, things have changed." I went into the vocal booth and situated myself. "The title of this song is "That Girl"."

"What am I supposed to do, oh oh, When she's so damn cold, like twenty below?,

That girl, that girl she's such a bitch but I tell myself I can handle it

You know I don't frequent the L.B.C cause I'm a bit too pale to run that scene,

But the So Cal sun has grown on me,

And that girl, that girl

Started with a bottle of cheap champagne,

Now she's got me hooked on her like good cocaine,

She's so numb, Miss Novocaine,

That girl, that girl

Said "No, kid, not tonight. You're not that good, and I'm not that type",

She's beautiful, but she's cold as ice and that keeps me hanging on

So what am I supposed to do, oh oh, When she's so damn cold, like twenty below?,

That girl, that girl, she's such a bitch,

I tell myself I can handle it,

But where am I supposed to go, oh oh, when she throws me out and it's twenty below?,

That girl, that girl, she's such a trick,

But I can't lie, I'm in love with it

That girl, oh oh oh oh, that girl, oh oh oh oh, that girl, oh oh oh oh, that girl, oh oh oh oh,

That girl, that girl

Now she won't buy my sex appeal,

Just an East Coast kid with a record deal,

I play her song, she plays the field,

That girl, that girl

Left me on the street in the middle of winter,
