[FLASHBACK]

Today was a big day. Your last day of junior year was finally here. It felt like it had just crept up on you, but thankfully that was relieving to you. Hm, you stared at yourself in the bathroom mirror. You looked at the dark green dress you had picked out. You shifted in the garment, tugging at certain parts of the dress. To be honest, you didn't wear formal clothes very often, so the dress didn't fit you as well as it use to. I've really grown, you rotated in the reflection. Whatever, you let out a sigh. Your attention shifted from your dress to the makeup on your face and your hair. As you scanned your face, a noise startled you. You tensed as the stall door behind you opened. All of your limbs froze as you saw the person leaving the stall in the mirror reflection. Wang Yiren? you recognized her. She quietly moved to the sink next to you. You watched her for a second before moving your head back down. She looks gorgeous, you thought. She wore an expensive-looking red dress, one that was extremely appealing to the eye on her body. Her makeup was flawless along with her long straight hair. Well, this is awkward, you thought.
"Um," Yiren suddenly spoke. You immediately turned your head to her.
"Hm?" you raised your eyebrows. She licked her lips, a nervous look on her face.
"Could you um..." she seemed to trail off. You just stood there awkwardly.
"I think I bled on my dress, could you check for me?" she asked. You stopped in confusion for a short second.
"Oh," you said without thinking. She's on her period? you realized.
"Sure," you nodded. She turned around. As you scanned her butt for blood spots, you couldn't help but think to yourself. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but I kind of forgot that girls like Yiren have period problems like this, you thought to yourself. You blinked. She was right. You noticed a slight blotch of a red that was darker than her dress on her bottom.
"Do you see any?" Yiren asked worriedly as she turned back around. You stood speechless for a second. A certain type of intrusive thought was bugging you.
"Y-Yeah," you responded. She lightly gasped.
"But hey, hey, it's not super bad or anything!" you held up your hands as you tried to diffuse the situation.
"It's really hard to notice, since your dress is red, and it's really down low," you told her. She let out of sigh of relief.
"But if you don't wash it off now, it'll turn brown and stain," you warned her. She nodded.
"It's okay, I think I packed a stain pen," she calmed down.
"Stain pen?" you tilted your head.
"It's like a stain-remover-to-go-pen-thing, you brush it on a stain and it comes off," Yiren smiled and explained.
"Oh," you nodded. An awkward silence fell between the two of you.
"Well, if we don't see each other again today, I guess I'll see you next year," she said as she walked to the door.
"Y-Yeah," you smiled back even though you knew would probably never see her again.
"Thanks a lot, Y/N," she said as she turned and smiled at you one last time. Your eyes widened as you watched Yiren walk out the door. She remembered my name, you realized. Wang Yiren remembered my name, you were once again, alone in the bathroom. I can't believe I almost lied to her about the stain.
