his head sunk into the crook of your neck, the both of you breathing heavily. the bed was a mess, you were running your hand up and down his bare back. "this was not how the tutoring session was supposed to go."
the fresh start y/n had been craving...
Sounds of footsteps and chatter surrounded you as you walked through the halls of your new school. So many things were on your mind at one moment, you could barely concentrate as you looked for your locker. Am I in the right building? Wait...do I know that person? Nope, never mind. 352, locker 352, 352, 352, wait, wait, did I put my uniform on right? Oh no, her's looks different. Locker! Gosh, focus. 352, 352, 35...aha! Found it, locker 353. You smiled as you pulled out a paper from your pocket. The code is...12, 31, 17. You struggled as it seemed the code wasn't working. While fiddling with the lock, you heard a voice from behind you. "Excuse me?" someone said. You turned frantically to see a tall boy with black hair staring innocently at you.

"What?" you were confused. "This is my locker, 353." he pointed. "Oh, oh? Oh!" finally it came to you. You scooted over to the next locker, and when the lock opened after putting in the code, you closed your eyes, sighing. "Sorry about that," you said to the boy while transferring items from your bag to your locker. "No problem," he looked away with a puzzled expression. "Hey, a-are you new here?" he stuttered. "Yup, my family moved to the area," you said. "You're in senior year though," he said. "Does that matter? Wait, how'd you know?" "Most people try to stay at the same high schools to make less confusion for colleges, oh, and the lockers are put together by grade." he seemed nice. He was well put-together, polite, and good with conversation. You smiled on the inside, you were thankful to have a kind person next to your locker. "Any advice?" you asked nonchalantly. "Hmmm, maybe don't get caught eating in history class, the teacher is really extra on rules." he smiled. "Thanks," you said. There was an awkward pause. "Oh, by the way, I'm Choi Beomgyu." he closed his locker. "I'm (full name), thanks for being so nice," you said politely, keeping your cool front.
As the conversation ended, things got a bit awkward when you both began walking in the same direction. Is he following me? you thought as you almost reached your homeroom class, science. Once you got to your seat you realized he was in fact not following you, just in the same homeroom as you.
______
In the blink of an eye, the day was over. You sat at the bus station, listening to music when a girl stood in front of you.

She wore her hair in brown pigtails, with a big smile. You took out your headphones quickly, sporting a "can I help you?" facial expression. "Sorry to bother, this fell off your bag." she held out a pink bear keychain. "Oh! Thank you." you smiled at her, taking the keychain out of her soft hands. "I'm in your English class, but I don't think you noticed." she sat down next to you. This was the moment when you realized she was wearing the same uniform as you. "I'm sorry, I've just been trying to focus on academics only." that was a half-truth half-lie. It was more like you wanted to stay away from the spotlight, so academics was all that's left to school. "Sounds boring." "It totally is." you both laughed. "What's your name?" she asked. "I'm (full name)." "I'm Choi Yerim, you can call me Choerry though." she smiled. "Well, what'd you think of the school?" she asked you. "It's fine. The uniforms aren't hideous, everyone has been polite, and it has a vending machine," you said.
The bus arrived and the two of you hopped on. "Do you always ride this bus?" you asked Choerry. "Yeah, what about you?" she asked. "I only ride it sometimes cause it goes straight to the place I work," you said. "Ugh, I need to get a job." she sighed. Your conversation continued with laughter. It was getting close to the next stop when suddenly, she whipped out her phone. "Do you have like an Instagram, Kakao Talk, or just a number I can message you from?" she asked. You contemplated on whether or not you wanted to be friends with her. She seemed really sweet, but it would mess up that "lone wolf" image you were trying to go for. Screw it. "Yep," you answered. What was the point of not making friends, this was your fresh start. That means new beginnings, new friends, new school, not new rules.
