Hyunjin waited for you outside again, but this time he didn't say anything, he just followed alongside you on his skateboard. Can he buzz off?! you were growing annoyed. You ignored him, staring at the sidewalk you walked on. He began to whistle a tune that made your ears prickle.
"Can you stop following me?" you turned around.
"Nope," he said.
"Go home Hyunjin," you said.
"I am going to a home," he said.
"A home?" you were confused by his wording.
"I'm going to your home." he pointed you. What?!
"No you're not." you rolled your eyes.
"I haven't seen your dads in a while anyway." he grinned. I get it now, you realized his plan. When you and Hyunjin were dating you told your dads he was your best friend and so they really came to like him. Because you never told them that you two were dating, you never told them when you broke up. He's gonna follow me to my new house, see one of my dads, and then he'll invite him in! Not on my watch.
"I'll get a restraining order if I need to." you continued walking.
"Don't you think everyone in the school is going to wonder why you got a restraining order on the perfect Hwang Hyunjin?" he said.
"Don't flatter yourself," you said.
I seriously need to get him off my case, you thought. You were getting close to your neighborhood.
"Wow, I didn't know you lived in such a nice neighborhood," he said. Does he think this is my neighborhood? you spotted a big brown house, it was familiar to you. Wait a minute...
"Hyunjin you're wasting your time!" you said.
"Probably," he said. I'm really gonna do it, huh, you were approaching the brown house. You stopped at the house. You were thinking. He can't know where I live, you speed-walked up to the front porch.
"Bye Hyunjin." you opened the door to the house. He stopped. He knew it wasn't your house. You closed the door to see people staring at you. Beomgyu's mother stood in the kitchen, a shocked expression on her face. And Beomgyu's older brother sitting on the living room couch. This is awkward, all the times you'd been over to Beomgyu's they weren't there.
"U-Uhm, hi, I'm (full name)." you didn't know what to do. They still stared at you.
"I'm Beomgyu's tutor." you were dying on the inside.
"Oh~, Beomgyu has told me about you!" Mrs. Choi sighed.
"I thought a stranger walked into the house." she walked out of the kitchen to greet you.
"Sorry I didn't knock, I think there was a man following me." Hwang Hyunjin had skated away by now.
"Oh that's terrible! Don't worry about it." she walked over to the window to see if the "man" was still there.
"Beomgyu is up in his room, would you like me to call him down or should you just go up?" she smiled.
"Oh I can just go up." you walked to the stairs hastily.
"Oh wait Y/N-" his mother was about to say something, but you were already racing up the stairs.
You walked down the carpeted hallway to Beomgyu's door. I can't believe that just happened! That was so embarrassing!! I just lied to his mom. Ugh, you opened the door without thinking. You froze when you saw Beomgyu in nothing but a towel.
"Sorry!" you shut the door. Ahhhhh! Why did I do that?! I'm such an idiot!! Why does this day have to keep surprising me, you slumped down, your back leaning against the door. You rubbed your eyes. Suddenly, the door opened, causing you to fall on your back. Choi Beomgyu looked down at you. He was wearing black jeans now, but still no shirt. You covered your eyes.
"You can come in," he said.
"I'm good." your hands covering your eyes.
"C'mon," he grunted as he dragged you into the room. You stood back up.
"Wasn't expecting you to be at my door today." he laughed.
"Sorry..." you said, looking away from his abs.
"You really scared me," he said.
"Sorry about that too." you sighed.
"What are you looking at?" he gently turned your head to face him.
"Can you please put a shirt on!" you closed your eyes.
"What? You're acting as you've never seen me without a shirt on," he said.
"Your mom might walk in so you should probably put one on." you reasoned.
"You've seen me without pants on too," he smirked.
"No I haven't!" you fell face down on his bed. He tugged your skirt down for you.
"Okay, I'll put one on," he said. There was a silence, you heard the sounds of clothes flapping around.
"You can look now." you felt him join you on the bed. You sat up.
"I kind of told your mom I was your tutor," you said.
"Well do you want go to the library then?" he said.
"No, I don't like the library," you said.
"Café?" he suggested.
"Why don't we just stay in your room tonight, I don't feel like going out," you said.
"Do you mean...?" he gave you a look. It took you a minute to understand.
"No, not that," you said. You looked at his chain. He noticed.
"Wait here." he stood up, walking over to his closet. He opened a box and began rummaging through it. He then returned to the bed with a silver chain.
"Could you lift up your hair for me?" he said.
You moved your hair. He stretched his arms around you, his face inching closer and closer to yours. You couldn't help but smile as you watched his focused expression. You heard a clipping sound and felt the thin chain fall onto your skin.
"Perfect!" he clapped his hands together. You walked over to the mirror on his desk, leaning down to see how it looked on you.
"Do you like it?" he hugged you from behind.
"I look cool right?" you turned around to hug him back.
