[FLASHBACK]
The cherry blossoms outside your school were in full bloom. The weather had been clear as ever, and the temperatures settling to be just right. Thought you continued to see Hyunjin, he was in your mind less. School was coming to a close soon, and you seemed to be overjoyed. It was like felt something was coming. Whether it was good or bad, you were ready for an eventful summer.
"Y/N~!" one of them called you from downstairs. You rushed from your bed to the stairway.
"Mhm~?" you responded.
"Come here please," they said.
"Coming!" you bounced down the stairway.
You were a bit surprised to be greeted by serious faces when you entered the dining room.
"What's up?" you asked.
"I know we told you the move wasn't happening until August, but we have to push it up to June," one of your fathers told you.
"Oh," this was surprising as June was just around the corner.
"And sweetheart we can still keep you at your current school, you'll just need to take the shuttle there," he added.
"When in June?" you asked.
"We'll likely be finished moving by the first week after school ends," your other dad added. You had conflicted feelings. Maybe it'd be nice to go to a new school, you thought. We're going to a much smaller town so it might be better for me, you wondered. But what about Hyunjin? I'll probably never get to see him if I go to a new school, you bit your lip. Maybe I'm a terrible person, but that might be the thing I need, you felt uncertain.
"Y/N?" they looked at you with a concerned expression.
"S-sorry! I'm fine with our plans, it'll be nice to be somewhere new," you nodded. They seemed surprised. You took that as your cue to return to your room. You turned to leave the room but stopped in your tracks.
"I think I will go to a new school there," you smiled. They shock on their faces only grew.
"If you're okay with it," one of your fathers replied. Then, you continued back to your room.
Is this a bad idea? I've been going off of instinct a lot lately. Should I really go? Yes, yes, I need a change of scenery, the thought of being somewhere new felt nice. I hate to say it, but I would love to be the person nobody knew about again. Maybe people just aren't for me. When you think about it, Joowon and Jiwoo have always been closer with each other than they are with me. It's not like I really give a lot of effort into our friendship anyways. The only thing I have been working desperately on is my relationship with Hyunjin. While he sits back and does nothing. I wish I was different, I feel like I don't even know myself. I want to be cool. I'm so not cool, you sighed. That's why, that's why I need to go to that school instead. I can reinvent myself. I can be cool! How do I tell him though? Knowing him, he'll try to coerce me out of it. And it might work. So I can do what? Sit here for a whole 'nother year at this big stupid school and be sad...and stupid?! This is my chance, and I'm not going to hesitate anymore. I'm going to that school, and I will be on my own. I'll be stronger this time.
