16. forbidden pastime

january 
day 1

mai was running late today. there was some guy here talking to naru so i was in lins room with him, but mai wasn't here yet. lola was with me and lin too. 
lin was supposed to be clicking away on his laptop doing god knows what but instead he was helping me with my phone. 
he set it up on new years {which we all sat around drinking for} and now i have everyones numbers! jhon gave me his first but lin put it in last. anyway right now hes setting up a phone tracker, so if i loose my phone at any point he can find it for me and same for him. 

"omg its freezing out there" i heard mai say as she walked in. 

"yay mai's here!" i got up and went to leave but lin gave me a look that asked where i was going "i wanna show her my outfit ayako got me for christmas!" he nodded and smiled waving me off to leave before going back to my phone. 
i was wearing this nice white top with frills at the cuffs and neck lace, and baby blue skirt that went to just above my knees, lin said it was cute. i also had knee high 

i walked out to see her struggling with the coffee lid. i waved hello and she smiled at me while she still talked to naru about how rekurio high school was on the news again. and how we'd gotten a call from them but naru turned the headteacher down. 

"whos that?" she asked walking towards the divider. i was still trying to attract her attention to my outfit but to no avail her curiosity was peeked  "hello?"

"oh hi im th student council president. at rekurio highschool. the names yasso."

she finally oppened the coffee pot -in surprise- but it spilt on me. but its okay it was only a little bit, not enough to notice. 

"whats going on? i thought you turned them down?" she asked naru. i moved to infrot of her and she turned to face the guys. so i moved back to her other side. my outfit! notice it!

"actually thats why im here. i was wondering if you'd reconcider? the siduations gotten much worse thestudent bodie is getting more and more scared"

still hasn't noticed my outfit. naru goes on to explain how he's intersted but hates doing investigations when the media is involved. basically if the news covers it naru wont participate. then yasso went on to explain he'd rather it gets dealt with as soon as possible. and bowed beggingly. i dont care about anything to do with rekurio. they can all suffer i dont give a damn. and if we do end up going im not sure lola will go. 

"mai call rekurio high for me. tell them we'll take the job" shit.

in her excitement mai raised her hands up and celebrated, completely forgetting the coffee tub. the coffee flew out of the tub due to the motion and dropped onto me. 

"mai!" she giggled apologising "my outfit" i sighed before going to lins room again.

"you smell nice" lin remarked as i took a seat in my den cuddling up to lola who was just chilling with her eyes closed enjoying the quite calm atmosphere. 

"course i do you addict. mai spilt coffee on me, naru wanted tea but she grabbed coffee and spilt it on me." he chuckled before grabbing some tissues and beckoning me closer, i sat on his lap and he wiped the coffee out my hair. "oh yea and naru accepted the job at the high school."

"mmmm" lin snaked his arms around me and sniffed my hair, "you should get coffee shampoo your smell is intoxicating." he cuddled into me and i cuddled back.

"so what high school is it?" lola interoupted. 

"oh no." i broke free of lin and went back to lola but this time i held her hands. "um you dont have to come to this one if you dont want to. it's understandable if you wanna stay here but the student council pressident of rekurio high school had begged naru for help." 

she instantly phased away not wanting to be here anymore.  i got into the van after saying my goodbye to lin. mai sat behind naru who was driving us. using *my* phone i texted the 'lovers rift' group chat that contained me, mai, jhon and munk. and told them about the morning i had making sure to mention my outfit, mai not noticing my outfit, mai spilling coffee on me, and mine 'n' lin's cute cuddle sesh.


mai's phone went off with my message, it caught naru's attention and he asked what it was.

mochi:    'tell naru munk texted you good morning!'

"oh um its just munk he texted me good morning. he does it everyday." she lied 

munk:   'morning sweetheart! how'd you sleep? want me to grab you anything for breakfast? that naru probably isnt feeding you is he.'
