27.

LIN POV

i heard mochi yelp and dropped everything on the floor in her new room. i ran straight to my room as if the house was on fire. 
i ran in to see her on the floor by the window, her legs were pulled to her chest and she was covering herself, her body was trembling in fear. 
i went to her and slowly reached out to not alarm her.

"(Y/N)?" before another word could be said another strike of lighting hit. her body jolted ad she threw herself forward clinging to me crying into my chest. she's scared of lightning. "its okay I've got you" i told her as i stroked her back in an attempt to calm her down. I'm not sure what to do. I've never dealt with someone's fear before. then again I've never been so utterly in love with someone before either and yet here i am.

i picked her up bridal style and carried her to my bed. i placed her down slowly and left her to close the curtains. she asked me not to leave her and i couldn't help but smile. i would never leave you. and that's what i told her. i walked back over and went into the draw of my bedside locker on the left side. i grabbed put a pair of headphones. plugging the headphones into my phone as i made my way next to the curled up mochi. as soon as i sat down again she clung to me, she's so scared it pains me to see her like this. i placed one of the headphones into her ear and put the other into mine. she might not like my music type but anything to distract her. the first song that played was 'the price is never right' by 'better off' she relaxed a bit as the music played and drowned out the sounds from outside. i wrapped my arm around her waist and let her cling to my side comfortably.
after like four more songs she had calmed down and the weather outside was not so much an issue. she began to run circles on my side with her finger as the music played. as the song 'fresh' by 'artist vs poet' played she started a conversation. 

"hey lin?" i grunted in response indicating she can go on. "aren't you lonely?" she asked. i looked down at her.

"what do you mean?" she looked up at me and pulled herself closer now hugging my side.

"i just mean that, you spend all day at the office or at work places just to go home to an empty house. i would get if you had an apartment that would be smaller but your house is big. doesnt all this room make you feel lonely?" i chuckled and pulled her onto my lap and cupped her cheeks placing a kiss on her head. 

"i'm not lonely. sure its big but it just shows how important a family is. i want a family of my own. ill need a house for that don't you think?" she smiled and rolled her eyes 

"you'll also need a girlfriend for that." i chuckled and wrapped my arms around her waist once again "witch shouldn't really be an issue, loads of girls want a piece of you" she giggled, that giggle is so fucking cute it sends an array of butterflies to my stomach i brought her closer so my head was on her shoulder. she brought her hands to my hair and began playing with it. it feels so nice. 

"i doubt it" i whispered in her ear her body shivered and  she stopped playing with my hair. 

"lets seeeeee. ayako likes you, miss abusana liked you, noriko from the doll house once made a comment about your ass, the nuns at the church around Christmas time said you'd be a great suitor-" i cut her off by pulling her down with me so we were laying down on the bed, her on top of me. 

"okay okay" she and i shared a laugh at the list she gave off "I'm sorry I'm SOOO~ desirable" i sarcastically excused. she laughed and cuddled into my chest like a cat. 

"oh don't apologise! your ass really is great" our laughter grew and i could see she'd fully forgotten about the lighting. "lin i don't wanna go back to work." she complained. i nodded and agreed. 

i grabbed the phone and sent naru a text telling him that we got caught in the rain and don't feel good so we weren't gonna go back to work today. 
he text back quickly telling me that it was okay because he and mai had locked up already so they could go to the movies. he then told me how mai tried to pay for everything but he wouldn't let her. he then sent me a photo of him and mai in the movies. mai had clearly taken the picture because it was her arm raiesed up to hold the phone as her other one held naru's hand into a peace sign. they were both smiling. 

i sent a picture back of (Y/N) on my chest cuddled in listening to music with me. as i took the picture i had realized that she was asleep. the song currently playing is 'fairytale' by alexander rybak' 
i saved the picture to my phone and saved it as my background. im so printing this and adding it to the album. 
for Christmas john gave me a photo album of pictures with me and mochi and then some of the whole gang. then mochi also got me a picture book with the two of us so now i have more. 

she makes my so happy. i love her so much. i wish everyday could be like this. me and her cuddling, kissing, listening to music and just enjoying each others company. 

i moved slowly so i wouldnt wake her and then i put the blanket us.
