9. afterschool hexer

it's my birthday soon and I wont be doing shit for it. again.
everyone was out doing their exorsisms and what not while mai was in the monitor room with me when we spotted kazui looking through a crack in the door, I got off of the desk so mai and I went to talk to her.mai let it slip she thought naru was an onmogi or something and kazui was intrigued. she also told her how miss hara didn't think that there where any ghosts her. I told her how I agreed, I saw kazui blush slightly when I spoke. 
this all happened after mai woke up. I got bored when she slept so I just went with Lin and naru looking on the cameras. miss hara came in and denied the spirit activity. and I believed her. I saw kazui kreeping in the background focusing on our convo and I got worried. so i went back to mai who woke up a little later and I told her to stay with Lin and naru no matter what. then all this with kazui happened. when it was all over cause naru and Lin came over I left to find miss hara knowing mai was safe with them.

I went in the same direction that kazui was going in and saw her bump into mr yoshimo? I don't know. but he looked scared and she just continued. I walked past him and up the stairs, I hadn't actually explored yet so im not sure of where im going. 
I got a student to help me back to the conference room or whatever it was called. I opened the door and saw everyone there so I wasn't going to find anyone then seeing as they were all there.
naru was explaining pk to mai. mai asked questions relating to the case n all that and the others were blaming kauzi then moved on to oliver davis or whatever. then ayako's old age. and as I walked through the door I heard her say...

"pk? so that's how mochi does it!" they all looked at me and were surprised,

"whatevers broken it wasn't me" I said with my hands up defending myself.

"no not that" mai laughed "mochi give me the book by Ayako would you?"

"but your right there" I pointed "and im all the way over here"

"and im lazy" I sighed and concentrated on it once again using my eyes, 

I looked at the book and it began to float I made it go to mai and I hit her on the head with it repeativly. I asked where she was in the book, she hid her head with her hands.
"PAGE 14!" mai shouted. I willed the book to turn to page 14. 

"thank you!" she said taking it. "AWE! i wanna sit down but there arent anymore seats."
i groaned and forcibly floated mai up in the sky and threw her in a seat in the back of the room

"sit, shut up and read your dumb book!" I yelled at her while the others clapped.

confused I looked back to see them astonished and surprised.
they began to compliment me and I was weirded out by there niceness.

"you guys didn't realize before? when we first met I literally saved a bunch of you! I held the glass for a second in the school house to help the principle and the vice prince, I held miss hara before she fell completely and I covered her so she wouldn't get hurt, I helped jhon by holding up the ceiling so it wouldn't fall on him and when he wouldn't get out I went in and threw him out loosing concentration and having it fall on me and I e-"

"SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAS HAPPENED!" yuko screamed as she burst through the door.

mr yoshima was in hospital and blaming kazui for it cause they bumped into eachother.
I saw that happen! she couldn't do that. I just know its not kazui. me, naru,munk and mai went to see him. 
but I got bored and went to my room mai came and picked me up as they left. I took a book with me. as we were leaving mai and I got a chill that caused me to brop my book. when the guys asked what was wrong I let mai tell them as I went to pick up my book.
we got back and was on our way to our base when we saw 3 girls bullying kazui and miss abusina stick up for her. the teacher her last name I know it.
everyone went to do there exorsisms again which bored me again. I stayed with mai and naru came in while mai was creeping herslf out so he scared her. 
suddenly the powed turned out as they were speaking. then something came dripping from the ceiling. I  sprung to my feet and even though naru protected her with his body I still went to mai's side and used my 'thing' {pk} to hold up any and all cutlery to surround us so mai was extra protected. munk burst through the door and got rid of it but mai was terrified, she insisted on naru being that 'thing' target with her dream knowledge. I dropped all the cutlery and layed on the floor. holy shit.
that was scary. 

it was now Thursday and I was tired I haven't slept because I wanted to make sure it was after naru not mai so I stayed up and watched over mai. turns out naru's red eyes were for the same thing. he had a staring contest. I was asked about mine and I told them to protect mai and she looked guilty.
mai and naru discussed kazui's unaccountability when the others pilled in.
I made Lin coffee.
naru had a break through moment and he came up with the reason this school is soo fucked up. 
they filled us in and we all came to the understanding of a zuzo curse. a hex. they all discussed it and I was lost in thought. I was taking it in but not saying anything till it got to the kazui blaming in which mai and I both simultaneously said...

"it's not kazui! we cant explain how we know it but withoud a doubt we can say its not kazui"

"is this your gut?" we nodded at naru who proceeded in our favour.

there was a plan put in place for us all to find the dolls and naru explained it, we were all set on our roles but something reminded to me. as everyone but me, naru and mai were left in the room.

"uh oh! mai I gotta take a train soon to town." I said stopping everyone.

"what wrong with that?" she asked

"i sat at the desk, first day here! if I go on that train then I might just die. but if I don't then I'll loose my job!" they all looked confused.

"how so?" naru asked.

"I ride the free train to get back to my school so I can clean it every weekend. it's my job and the reason I can get my education. but If I don't go then I'll loose it all!"

"that's by the weekend im sure we'll fix it by then"

"no no. every Thursday we all meet up to say weither or not we still want the job! im just gonna have to risk dying."

"no your not!"

"mai I have too!"

"{Y/N} {L/N} YOU WILL NOT GO NEAR A TRAIN UNTILL THIS IS SORTED DO YOU UNDERSTAND! THATS AN ORDER IF IT HAS TO BE!" she snapped.

"{Y/N}?" naru asked causing mai to realise her mistake,

I left the room to look for the dolls without another word but as I left I saw miss abusina's old lady clothing as she speed walked around the corner. I looked around the classrooms for any dolls, I didn't manage to find any but it was better than sticking around them right now.

I was still avoiding mai when I met with miss harra we talked as we went up the stairs together. but suddenly both me and masako were yanked back down the stairs by an amazing force. 
miss hara's scream alerted everyone and they came to our aid. Ayako told the others while jhon and munk helped us into the ambulance, I walked straight back out of it jhon stayed with miss hara. i saw mai stood there worried. when she saw me she was soo happy she dragged me into a hug. 

"im so so sorry for what I said!" she apologised.

"it's fine mai. as Romeo said to Juliet -whats a name?"
