I woke up in my bed at the hospital with my sight back. it was a little blurry but at least I could see again. it was like magic.
I looked around as much as I could and saw naru and Lin on the beanbags looking through naru's phone they were both smiling. Lin had crutches next to him.
"hay Lin how is your recovery?" I asked as I sat up the two of them got up off the beanbags.
"your awake?!" I smiled and nodded at them.
"yep! how long was I out for?" naru went and got a nurse and Lin stayed with me.
"they said it would take a few weeks to recover how are you fine after a day?"
"hehe my body is weird it kinda just...fixes itself? I guess." I giggled.
"anyway how is your injury? you had a sprained ankle right" he nodded
"im fine now." I nodded and got out of the bed and stratched out, I walked to the bathroom.
I looked into the mirror and just saw a few scratches on my eyelid and besides my eye in like a cervices or whatever. I noticed that there wansnt really anything happening on the other side of my face, I got like a mark from a splinter or whatever. I guess shock just closed my eye and then my body gave in and I passed out from a bit of everything. that sounds good not many flaws there I guess.
I walked back out of the room and went on to the bookshelf and grabbed a book from the 3rd shelf. I walked towards the wardrobe and set down the book on the top before grabbing out two outfit. it was a hand me down from one of the nurses. I held them both up and showed them to Lin.
"which one looks cuter?" he looked at both outfits again.
he pointed at a black top with a sown in choker and a red and black checkered skirt.
I looked at what he picked and shrugged, I then proceeded to go to the bathroom and put it on. to be fair it did look good. I quite liked it. it had that grown up feeling to it but also didn't take away my childish ways. but could you really blame me I don't want to grow up and become a grown up and be forced to be all serious and have my humour dragged out of me year by year. ugh. even thinking of it makes me shiver. I walked out to see Lin, Naru and Wendy.
"is that mine?" Wendy asked looking at my outfit. I shrugged and pointed to the wardrobe.
"oh." she smiled at me "well you look great!" I smiled and twirled around.
"Lin picked it out isn't it cute!" I asked naru he nodded and chuckled.
"almost hard to believe your turning 20 in december" wendy laughed {im sorry if its not but I has plan}
"20?!" naru asked surprised.
"yea I said when introducing myself to jhon. weren't you listening? whatever we gotta go!"
"wait I haven't said that your cleared to go yet!"
"sorry wndy but I don't want to be here too long I cant afford the bill as it is, i'll have to get another job at this rate just to pay all my hospital bills"
Lin drove the three of us back to the old school house to meet with the others. he still had a bad leg but he said he was ok to drive so I believed him, I would've offered to drive for us but I haven't got a licence. so I was just reading in the back seats the book I took.
when we got there it was quite early in the morning. we stood by the van just going over some stuff when we heard footsteps it turned out to be mai. she couldn't sleep because of an experiment they'd set up or something. she saw Lin and attempted small talk. he was ignoring her for some reason. she saw me and nearly cried, she hugged me tightly.saying how sorry she was and how it was her fault.
"oh calm down kiddo, its my fault for doing it I just allowed you to order the same thing I guess"
"the door exploded cause I told you to-"
"not infront of them k?" she nodded and we continued forwards with our day. when everyone showed up and I mean everyone. we all went up to a room in the building that a chair had moved in previously, that chair was not out of the chalk circle that naru drew around it.
I had no idea what the fuck was going on at this point.
it turned out that koroda was the cause of our spiritual journey and then the building itself was sinking cause of subsiding .
Ayako was being all seriouse and asking who gets the pay which caused naru to show off his nice guy side and made up an explanation to tell the principle so we all get paid and koroda doesn't get in any trouble.
"even though your young I wouldn't mind taking you out sometime" Ayako flirted with naru
"im afraid im going to have to deny that offer im too used to looking at myself in the mirror"
we all burted out laughing I laughed into Lins side as did miss hara.
I liked this, it felt nice just to have fun with others.
"I guess you were right mochi" munk said as he ruffled my hair. everyone looked at me "you did go on about how this place couldn't actually be haunted or you'd know, you said it was probably sinking or something righ? which is what gave naru the idea to look at this from another angle"
"oh yea how'd you do that mochi?" jhon asked, I shrugged.
"im here all the time if there was a ghost then I'd know"
me and mai helped pack things into the van with Lin naru's real assistant.
mai and I weren't happy we enjoyed the past few days and now its all going just as fast as it came. it's scary how fast good things come and go.
mai tried to talk to naru about helping a bit more but he was turning her down and jokingly making a dumb joke and mai got upset and left.
"I guess I should go aswell. I'm really gonna miss you guys, it was only a few days but Im kinda drawn to you guys your so interesting and fun, but um oh well I guess."
I walked away and joined mai back in class.
A WEEK TIME SKIP
it has been a week now and no sign of the guys. they really left. all I have left is the old school house mai and I are currently looking out at through one of the classroom windows, reminiscing on our time there. suddenly the building had fallen down. GREAT NOW I HAVE FUCKING NOTHING!
mai and I were called into the office for a phone call, believe me when I tell you the voice that came through the phone was one we wanted to hear. it was the biggest narcissist you'd ever meet, naru the narcissist. he asked if we wanted a job and of course we accepted. we got the address and went straight there after school to sign a few documents to say we can work there or whatever.
