yasso pov.

they had just left, and i was going to head home but i was stopped by the voice of lolita. before all this started i never believed in ghosts but now there's no way i cant believe in them 

"yasso!" she called out. i stopped in my tracks and turned to face her. she was still as beautiful as she was when we were in school together. "yasso i want to pass on." she told me. 

"how do you do that? can i help in anyway?" i asked, she was my best friend before she got into that car accident and passed away. 

"yasso im held here by my unfinished business, i never got to do something and i regretted it i cant move on untill..." she took in a deep breath, which was cut short by her choking on the air she just took in. i laughed 

"your still a goofball." i told her. her face soffened and she smiled at me.

"yasso i love you."

"what?" 

"i love you yasso i always did. i died without telling you that and i hate it. that is my unfinished buisness. i never got to tell you that i was absolutely undoubtedly head over heals for you." it took me a moment to take it all in but when i'd realised what she was saying i felt so much happyness come over me.

"oh lolita i really wish you wouldve told me. becasuse i love you to! i always loved you. i loved the way you laughed and how goofy you were. i loved when you'd throw away your pencils just to ask me if you could borrow one so you could start a conversation with me. i loved how much you cared for everyone and everything. when you got ill i felt horrible knowing i couldn't help you. i love you too lolita"

her body began to glow and she smiled widely the same goofy lovable smile that i so adored. 
she began to fade away and i couldn't help but cry.

mai pov

naru and i were walking back to the car in order to leave, i felt risky so i grabbed his hand and held it. i thought for sure he'd pull away or be mean about it but instead he entwined our hands together. which made me happy but what made me more happy was when he pulled me closer and kissed my forehead. my face was covered in a bright red blush. and a chuckled calling me a tomato. 

"thats not fair! im not a tomato!" i defended myself but he only chuckled a bit more

"don't worry mai i like tomatoes" i puffed out my cheeks as i felt my face go more red if thats even possible at this point!

as we got closer to the car we saw that lin and mochi were already in it. they were sat in the front seats together. lin behind the wheel and mochi in the passenger seat. 
it looked like they were arguing about something, i could see mochi looked annoyed and lin move in hands around as if trying to prove a point or at least further one. 
this is the most ive seen lin speak. 

"are they arguing?" i asked naru already knowing the answer, 

"looks like it" he squeezed my hand slightly "looks like im riding in the back with you this time." 

"so long as you keep your hands to yourself im good." i joked. he chuckled again. i remember that night. 

after we staged our fight naru and i had walked around the school i told him the fight was about munk saying he'd never date me and how that felt and he had told me something that forever change my life. he said:

"he doesnt know what he's talking about. if you were mine i would struggle to keep my hands off of you" 

obviously him being naru he then tried to justify himself and make that sound less sexual but it didnt matter, he'd said it and i'd already memorized it. i engraved it into my brain!

anyway so we walked over to the car and got in the arguing seemed to stop once we'd opened the door. 

"everything okay?" naru asked while he strapped in. i also strapped myself in. mochi huffed out 
just peachy in quite a clearly annoyed tone. "okay then lets head back to the office." lin began driving straight away never making eye contact with anyone. he looked on the road never once looking at mochi who was looking out of the window in disinterest. it was very quiet. And very awkward. Yet I still managed to fall asleep.

Naru pov

"Thats it." I spoke once more. All attention was on him, obviously lin was driving so his attention was mainly on the road. And mai was asleep "What is the issue?" I asked slightly irritated.

It was silence once more before mochi caved in. With a sigh she announced...

"A friend of mine has a love interest and he's just asked her to move in with him" she told us. She sounded like she was making it up as she went.  "And lin thinks its a good idea."

"Why isn't it?" I inquired only for her to huff.

"They've only known eachother like a year and a few months how could she? Plus they work together so if something happens there it happens in the house or if something happens in the house they take it to work and fuck things up for everyone!"

"BUT!" Lin stopped her rambling "the guy checks the cameras after every work day and found out that the girl is living at the office and thought it would be a good idea to help her!"

"She didn't ask for help!"

"Well maybe she ought to accept that this guy doesn't give a damn he wants her to live with him no matter what"

"But what if it ruins their relationship? Maybe the girl isn't even sure what relationship they have and is confused"

"Then the girl should ask the guy what they are"

"Right okay totally sure or or counter offer, hear me out, the guy can y'know NOT SPRING THIS SHIT ON ME! Maybe if the guy had slowly lead up to it rather than asking it after kissing the girl then there'd be a nice conversation derived idea of where to go from this"

"But if you she moved in with him It won't change anything for the worse he promises!"

"But how does the guy know that? He couldn't possibly know that!"

"Oh just fucking move in with me! I want you to be as close to me as I can fucking have you!"

"FINE!" mochi yelled at him this woke mai up with a jolt.

She looked between everyone and tried to figure out what went down while she slept. She ended up shrugging it off and unstrapping. I was confused at this untill she layed her body down on the seat and layed her head on my lap cuddling in.

I looked forwards for some help only to see mochi pull lins hand to her leg. He smiled and rubbed circles in with his thumb as he drove. Mochi looked at him and scowled.

"Fuck you" she mumbled before looking out the window. "You ask me to marry you next kiss and I will send you back to china" lin chuckled and squeezed her leg lightly.

I began to play with mais hair. Its so soft.
