12. love in the park?

December 1st.

my birthday and boy was it going to be a change, keiko had brought us a case at the end of the day about her and her boyfriend being splashed in the park before they got to kiss. im 20 now I don't actually need to attend school now, my graduation was last week the only reason I'm here is to pick up mai. I now just stay at the office with the guys, sometimes I don't go home I just sleep on the sofa there, I grabbed a bag load of clothes from the hospital awhile ago and have just hidden it in Lin's office where no one will see it, and when im on my last outfit i'll wash all the outfits so I can wear them again the following days. I still do a caretaking job at the school, so I still use the washing machine there.

We got to the office, mai and i went straight to the kitchen to make the tea and coffee, we were just joking around about how we think naru would react to the case mai and i were requested to take to him. We suddenly changed the subject to enquire why Lin and naru have been having a bunch of secret meetings with munk, we always hear the guitar too! Its like there getting lessons or something....NAH! there so not the type to learn guitar for no reason.
We left the kitchen giggleing and went seperate ways. Mai went to present the case to naru who looked happy to see mai like always. I went to Lin's room to give him his coffee but when i arrived i saw Lin holding the canvas with topless him drawn on. I finished it last week and left it in there to see when he'd realise it, i guess thats today then. He realised i was here and hid it behind his back so i wouldnt see it. I laughed and told him it was ok because id done it and its his early christmas present.
He thanked me and went back to work at his desk. I layed down in the back and was instantly uncomfortable.

"Lin~ can we go to the hospital?"

"Why?! Are you hurt??!!"

"No its just that i miss sitting on a beanbag this is slightly uncomfortable"

"We'll head up later."

I thanked him and stared at the ceiling as i layed there just talking to myself.
"When was the last time i ate?" I asked myself aloud as i began to think about it "wait when was the last time i just hung out? Im too busy working all the time." I continued to mumble about how poorly im looking after myself when my eyes began to drop. Oh yea i havent slept either.

Im not even sure how this all happened, im still too tired to properly comprehend how this got to here. Right now me and everyone else on the team were in a cuircle deciding on couples. I mean i guess we got our case investigated but mai said it wasnt her who convinced him? Im not sure but munk got mai excited by the chance of her being paired with naru so she signed herself up, i joined in thinking i could play with this senario.

"Can i sugest the coupsles?" Jhon asked, naru intruged allowed him to.

"Okay so i think it should be... masako and naru. Munk and mai. Ayako and Lin. ME and mochi!"

I sat down on a bench as Lin and jhon argued im not sure why but after jhons choices Lin took him aside and argued with him.
I went up to then after 4 minuets of arguing with eachother and got in the middle of it, jhon looked at me and nodded. OH! THATS WHY THEY WERE ARGUING!

"Lin? Whats wrong whats with the arguing if your not happy with your partner just say who you REALLY want" i could just cry of laughter right now.

".....Mochi....." oop

"Yes Lin~" i asked innocently.

"Be my partner in this investigation and we'll go get ice cream."

And now im walking down the path in the park with icecream in my hand eating it while chatting with Lin whom of which is enjoying his icecream, he's smiling a lot as we talk and laugh. I booped him on the nose with icecream and he laughed before doing the same to me, i felt a drip on my shoulder but before i could look up to see if it was about to rain i had a frisby to the head.
