5. doll house

"well everybody hast to get older even shelly, she's just 19 young and naïve. she wants to find a way to be endless, y'know fight the science and be defiance and be timeless. she was just a silly little girl who tried to live forever she gave her soul away to buy a bit of pleasure, oh the bitter pleasure. then natsu a wicked little boy who tried to steal her treasure and now there cursed forever. and she cant believe she fell for his lies. see he promised forever but she never knew the price. and as she got a little bit older now she's ninety still looks nineteen and all she knows is to survive and staying alive. but now she's crying cause she's not dying." 

"sounds like an intresting book what was the name? i'll see if I can get a coppy for the office" naru said after hearing the huge book review mochi gave him on a book she remembered reading years ago but couldn't find now.

"the wolf and the sheep" {actually a son pls look it up its pretty good!}

mai was asleep in the car right now as they were on there way to a lady named noriko's house.
apparently a bunch of things have been happening lately that can only be explained as paranormal and she'd like some help. so were here, Lin's driving right now so I was mainly talking to naru but he'd jump in a few times. to make sure we remember that he's here too.

"what's your favourite book Lin?"  he thought for a minuet 

"not sure"

I nodded and continued to look out of the window till I soon followed mai and fell asleep. ive worked here with mai for about a week now and Ive had so much more fun! mai makes naru tea and take it to him while I made Lin coffee, Lin was really quiet and didn't talk much to mai but whenever I'd bring his tea I would ask how his day was going and he'd tell me then return the question. we would have a small conversation before I would then leave and talk with mai on the sofas in the main room. we just hung out there joking and messing around till one of the boys told us to so something or until we got a client.
I woke up to Lin shaking me lightly. I shifted away still tired and cuddling into the seatbelt.

"mochi its time to wake up" he shook my shoulder again. "were at the house"

"but Lin~~" I yawned, "i'm tired I haven't slept in ages" he nodded before friken dragging me out of the car by my arms.

"LIN! let go of mee." he let go and I was already out of the car just stood there "that's it im not talking to you from now on " I told him sternly as I walked into the house I met up with the others.

they were introducing eachother and all that but I felt bad about this place, it just scared me. I don't know it just feels wrong. im scared? of a house? damn im going crazy. we finished introductions and I went back to the van to get the equipment. Lin was there also helping to set things up with us. naru watched as I ignored Lins attempts of starting a conversation with me by picking up the stuff and turning away form Lin really quickly. he then grabbed a monitor and caught up with me leaving mai and Lin to grab more stuff.

"are you mad at him?" naru asked as we entered the house.

"nope! im just curious on how each of our team members react to me not talking to them"

"I see" we started to set up the stuff we brought in.

"don't worry naru I wont do it too you. why would I bully my 'little brother' like that?"

naru and I are quite close I do feel like he's a brother of mine, if I wasn't an only child that is. we always make jokes about it and confuse Lin. we don't really talk much when the whole group are around he wants to seem in control and serious all the time but in actuality he's just a puffball with a slight superiority complex he's also a huge narcissist  and i'm weird as fuck so we work well together.

I went around the house setting up mikes and cameras in all rooms. and by the time that I came back munk and Ayako were there listening to mai giving her expert opinion. I saw the two and thought i'd be nice, I called out to munk before running and hugging him, he hugged me back and ruffled my hair, I might be 19 but in quite short. im just a tiny bit smaller than naru, so munk has height against me. I went to hug Ayako but she beat me to it and hugged me first. I sat on the sofa behind them as mai and naru finished talking.

"I think theres a ghost here, I think theres a lot actually!" I blurted out.

"reasoning?" naru enquired, I stood up from the sofa,

"not sure" I said as I skipped away to the halls to see if there was anything to do. there wasn't

mai walked out a second after me and started to complain to me about naru being a gerk all the time I laughed it off and was approached by noriko to join her for ayami's snak time. we agreed and venture up the stairs, I looked back for a second and my eyes went to the monitor room and met another set of eyes watching me, I turned my head quickly away from Lin's eyes.
mai asked a question of whom ayami takes after more and we lerned that kana isn't ayamis birth mom but her step mom. when we'd gotten to ayami's room we saw the cutest thing ever. 
it was ayami on her floor reading her book to her doll. it was soooo cute, but something felt off, it was the same feeling from when I entered the house in the first place. but who cares right now ayami is adorable! she introduced us to Minnie.
noriko was talking to her and she was all good until suddenly she just clicked to another side of herself, I felt my entire body cramp at the same time that ayami changed. theres something wrong. she told us how she wasn't hungry anymore.

later that night naru tried his hypno shiz on the three of them. I wasn't here for the first time he'd done this at the old school house but when I observed today it was interesting how it was done. it worked anyway so we set it down and drew a chalk circle around It.
