I didn't see what I was looked like until it was time to leave. I wore a pale purple strapless gown. My hair was pinned back from my face and fell down my back in ringlets. Cinna came and put a shimmering silver wrap around my shoulders. "Like it?" Cinna asked softly as he sadly smiled. "It's beautiful, as always." I said sadly when I looked at him. "Let's see how it looks with a smile." He said gently, reminding me there would be more cameras and I managed a smile. "There we go." He said also smiling. None P.O.V. Cato stood looking in the mirror. There was a knock on the door and both Enobaria and Brutus walked in as they smiled at him. "You look great!" Enobaria compliment him and Cato just simply nodded his head. "I've been thinking about earlier, what Ruth said. If our love's real then why doesn't everyone believe it? And then it dawned on me that maybe it was she doesn't like me? She loves her friend more than she does me. I mean I did try and kill him in the 74th hunger games." Cato said about the love.

The mentors both looked uneasy at one and other before speaking. "She does Cato; she's just scared for her family, her friend, his family, and all the other people in the districts." Brutus said about Ruth and Roy. "Don't lie to me. It all falls into place. Why she never answered or rung me back and why she left 2 with Roy without saying goodbye to me. Tell me the truth please." Cato said getting angry. "Cato she does, okay. It'll all be okay." Brutus said trying to calm the angry Cato down as Ruth and Roy stood outside Cato's room. He had finally worked it out but she didn't want him to. They would have to lie to him yet again. Ruth breathed in heavily before knocking the door as everything in the room went silent. Cato was about to shout when he heard someone knock his door. They all froze then Enobaria turned to open the door. "It will most likely be Ruth and Roy." Enobaria said and as if on que Roy and Ruth walked in. "We'll leave you three alone, you'll need to come down in ten minutes time." Brutus said as he and Enobaria walked out of the room. Cato watched as Roy nodded his head and turned to look at him with a glare of sorts.

Ruth watched as the door shut and then she turned to speak to Cato. "You look nice." Ruth said with a small smile as Cato returned her smile. "You look beautiful." Cato said to Ruth as she walked towards him and kissed him on the cheek. "God I love you." He said forgetting everything that had happened and of Roy. They walked together in silence until they saw everyone there ready to go in. Cato, Roy and Ruth stood in front of the door. As a blinding light hit them they put on their dazzling smiles. They walked down a staircase and were sucked into what became a round of dinners, ceremonies and train rides. Each day was the same. Wake-up, get dressed, ride through cheering crowds, make a speech in honour of their fallen tributes but only the ones Clive made them, have a small tour of the district, dress in evening clothes, attend the dinner and then the train.

During the ceremonies, they were both solemn and respectful but always holding hands with Ruth between Roy and Cato. At the dinners Roy and Cato were both in love too busy in Ruth for everyone else. They would kiss Ruth, dance with Ruth and even one time they were caught trying to sneak away with her to be alone without the other. But they never hid the fact of the miseries going on. Ruth realized why Snow came to visit her. It was worse than she had ever expected. In 10 they all glared at them as Ruth's nightmares became worse. One night they were all sitting in the lounge room of the train as Clive was happily speaking. "Oh aren't you all looking forward to the big party in the Capitol. It's going to be amazing." Clive said as Ruth was tired and bored of Clive stood up. "I'm going to bed. See you all in the morning." She said hugging Clive, Joan, Cinna and her prep team goodnight before kissing Cato and Roy. Ruth P.O.V. I lay in bed letting sleep overtake me. But how wished I had stayed awake. The nightmares had started once again from my father last moments to not saving Rue to her family dead and Snow killing Cato and the last one that scared me the most Roy having a gun aimed at my head. I shot up screaming. I looked around my room as sweat falling down my forehead. Cato ran in and I looked at him. "Sorry it was a nightmare." I said and Cato nodded.
