"Kaneki! Please!" You yell pathetically as you banged on the house door. "Please just talk to me! I know there has to be some kind of an explanation!" Tonight, you got attacked and you were sure it was some kind of supernatural animal. But, that wasn't even the most compelling thing about it.
Your best friend, Ken Kaneki, whom you have known since the sandbox, had transformed into something similar to that thing and ripped that guy's guts out of his body. You'd heard on the news that people who took appearance like that were called ghouls and you being naive, you didn't think anything about it.
But, Kaneki? A ghoul? The Kaneki you knew wouldn't hurt a fly. But tonight, you were sure that something that resembled blood-red claws of some sort, went straight through that ghoul's stomach and his guts poured out of his body.
But now, you were banging out his door. Not really looking for answers, but some kind of warmth and comfort considering the horrifying scene displayed upon you tonight. If Kaneki hadn't shown up, you'd probably be laying dead with your face bit off.
