ellie watched you as your chest rose up and down as you were resting comfortably in the white sheets of your shared bedroom. she didn't want to encumber you with her watching eyes while you slept, but she just couldn't help it. you sure were a sight for sore eyes. your frizzy hair free from its usual rubber confinement. she rubbed and massaged your fingertips, seemingly soothing you as she could hear you purr like a cat in your sleep.
she was happy to see you. seeing you so peaceful, so calm, and so tranquil. but sooner rather than that tranquility came to an end as you began to gently thrash in your sleep. she knew what this was. you were having a bad dream. she knew you had these and she couldn't blame you.
