I strolled into Old Granny's Café. It was an adorable little cottage at the outskirts of the village. It's walls were filled with windows so I could clearly see the forest that was only a short run away.

I walked to the counter, smiling at Helen, who was standing behind the counter. Helen was the owner of this place, and she must be a good 50 plus years. She's human and has no idea what I am, but I've been coming here for 5 years, whenever I had the money, so she's used to me by now.

"Haven't seen you in a while," She said, looking up at me.

"Been busy," I shrug, dismissing her curious look with a playful wink.

"Up to no good?" she asks, faking to be stern.

"Me? Never." I said, playing along. Helen is the closest thing to a friend I've had in a long while. She's almost like a grandmother to me.

"The usual?" she asks, referring to my food.

"You know me so well," I say, a large grin covering my face. Well I did order the same thing every time I came.

I grabbed my blueberry muffin, strawberry meringue cake, and caramel latte, and went to my usual table near the window. I have a large appetite. Don't judge.

I stared out of the window and looked at the beautiful scenery. Beyond the cafe's well trimmed lawn, I could see the wild forest with overgrown weeds and trees so high, you couldn't see the top. Just the way I liked it.

What I had told Helen was true. I had been busy. Busy searching. Searching for them. I had started searching about a year ago, and I got the feeling I was close to finding what I wanted. I wanted revenge. I craved it.

A sharp scent interrupted my thoughts as I paused between my bites of my heavenly strawberry cake. Fuck.

Werewolves.

I quickly picked what remained of my food (half a strawberry cake and half a mug of coffee) and rushed to the nearby bathroom stalls. I paused in front of the door to the bathroom, staring at the sign. Ah shit. Since when is this bathroom unisex? I rushed in and close the door to the stall. I could hear the werewolves talking outside. Judging by the sound of their heartbeats, there was three of them. Suddenly they stopped talking. I could hear them step closer and closer to the stupid ass unisex bathroom.

My thoughts were rushing through my head. Why are they here? This village doesn't contain any werewolves. I had made sure of that five years ago when I investigated the place. I heard them enter clear as day as one of them chuckled.

"Well what might we have here?" one of them said, playing the fool.

"Smells like a rogue to me," another spat out. I could almost feel the smirk on his face.

Kill them. Nika snarled in my head, her short temper getting the best of her. Lana however thought otherwise.

Maybe they want to play ... My way? Lana said cheekily. Oh Goddess that cat has a one track mind. Not in that way! She giggled. Okay maybe a little.

Lana focus! I shouted in my mind trying to concentrate on the wolves outside my bathroom door.

One of the boys took a whiff as he said "Smell that boys? A rogue and a cat," He chuckled as he continued "Someone's being naughty in the unisex bathroom..." he chanted. Creep.

Lana I need you to focus ... we need to get out of here. The last thing I want is to end up a slave for these guys' pack.

Got it captain. She said.

Being a cat, Lana was naturally luring. She enjoyed male attention, and even though we haven't had much action in a while, she got enough pleasure from leading guys on. She was cunning too, so when Nika's violent nature got the best of her, she always managed to put her in her place.

"Naughty? Me? Never." I purred, as I recalled the similar words I had told Helen. As the guy got closer to the door, I could smell him a little better. He had a faint pleasant smell, and Nika was enjoying it.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are. Or I'll pull the door off its hinges myself. Your call." He said, a playful tone in his harsh voice.

"We wouldn't want Helen to suffer from all this, now would we?" I said, referring to the door, as I swung it open.

The three men who stood before me smirked all at one go. Like the three little pigs they were. I looked up at them, and judging by their positions I guessed that the one standing close to me was the highest ranking from the three of them.

"What you planning on doing, Cam?" The guy standing furthest back asked. Okay so the man staring down at me was definitely not Alpha, nor Beta, since 'Cam' was way too informal. Third-in-command? Possibly.

"He's not planning on anything," I merely said, as I started to push by him. "This is neutral land. I have every right to be here."

"You see, our Alpha is mighty strict about rogues staying even close to his land, so I'm sorry to say dearie, you're coming with us." He stated, while blocking my exit.

"Oh is that so?" I purred, staring into his dark brown eyes. I tapped my fingers gracefully up his chest, seducing him further, while pouting. "Why would you do that? We can compromise." I said while smiling slightly. I could see him stiffen and I thought my plan was working.

Well I never fail. Lana said proudly, while I could feel Nika rolling her eyes.

"You know what? I change my mind" I felt Lana puff her chest at Nika. "I'm not taking you 'cause you're a rogue. I'm taking you 'cause you're a cat."

I felt Nika burst out laughing as Lana was too shocked to speak.

Looks like you just failed kitty Nika said with a teasing tone, but I could sense her becoming nervous too.
