Roxanne Grace Weasley, daughter of Angelina and George Weasley, was born just as June arrived and together with her, came more happiness to the Weasley’s. Freddie, differently from James, didn’t accept the idea of a baby sister very well in the beginning, but within a month, he was completely overprotective of her despite his jealousy concerning his mother’s attention being now divided between them. Angelina was loving to be a mum again, but decided to have no more. For as much as she loved her children more than humanly possible, she longed for having a career again. Angelina was sure she had no more chances at the Bats again, but she knew she could still be very successful at something other than diaper changing and cooking dinner. With that in mind, she went to see her brother-in-law, Percy, to ask for a job at the Ministry. On her way to his office, though, she ran into Smith, from the Department of Magical Games and Sports, who immediately recognized her and offered her a job on the spot. The ex-Quidditch player accepted the offer, to begin in September, to work on the British and Irish Quidditch League Headquarters as part of the Behavior Squad. Angelina would be responsible to guarantee the FairPlay during the matches and provide any punishments for acts that go against the regulations.

Katie and Oliver were overwhelmed by the birth of their goddaughter and seemed to visit her everyday before the wedding planning took most of their free time. Although the season ended, Oliver still had lots to do in Puddlemere and Katie, as a broom expert, didn’t have such things as on and off season. She worked for Nimbus as a developer and that special summer she had been attending several congresses about broom technology and improvements all over the wizarding world. But still, the couple set the date in October. They would do the ceremony and reception in the United’s Quidditch Pitch, as it was there where Oliver proposed and it was at the Gryffindor’s team that they met so many years before.

Hannah Longbottom was happy to have her husband back from Hogwarts for summer. He had taken over the Leaky as she was too pregnant to work there. As July passed them by, she was dying to finally have their baby. Ginny laughed one time at her complains three weeks before the due date.

“Please, Han, Albus was born one and a half week after the due date.” Ginny joked one Tuesday afternoon she went to visit her before going back to the Prophet.

Hermione and Ron were as happy as ever. Ron had become the most overprotective father of all ages. There was already a bet going lose about Ron’s reaction to Rose’s first boyfriend. Harry bet heart-attack, Ginny guessed state of chock while Hermione put her gold on ‘chasing the bloke with his wand ready for attack’. Hermione though wasn’t the mum everyone thought she would become. Clearly, it was still difficult to leave Rosie at the Burrow every morning before work, but she had high hopes of being a cool mum. Harry snorted at that remark one day at lunch with his best friend.

“Please, Mione, you’re saying that because she’s not even one year old. Wait until she starts running around the house and wanting to mischief with her cousins. You will be a tough mother.” Harry doubted her.

“You seem to be a cool dad to Teddy and James.” Hermione cross-fired.

“Well, I can be both parents when I want. When Teddy misbehaves and yes, it does happen every once and a while, I’m tough with him. I gotta be. And better for him to be me rather than Ginny.”

“You got that right.” Hermione joked.

That day, Harry left the Ministry a bit earlier than normal and decided to go to the Burrow to visit his mother-in-law and wait for Ginny there, before they took the kids home. He said his goodbyes to Susan and Seamus, Wallace and Kelly and Bernard (who was still sulking the fact he didn't have the guts of asking Heather out after their hook-up at Percy and Audrey’s wedding and so she decided for him that they would be just friends) and headed out the Ministry.
