cat in a vat

cat is trapped

trapped all day

trapped all night

night is dark

night is still

still trapped inside

still afraid

afraid and alone

afraid of sounds

sounds like squeals

sounds like howls

howls a dog

howls the cat

cat in vat

cat so fat

fat and chubby

fat and lazy

lazy as a pig

lazy as a cut dog

dog outside

dog is sniffing

sniffing the vat

sniffing the ground

ground smells of cat

ground smells of skunk

skunk hidden nearby

skunk taking aim

aim at the dog

aim with tail

tail in air

tail quivers

quivers as it shoots

quivers as it hits

hits dogs face

hits with spray

spray the dog

spray its eyes

eyes that burn

eyes that run

run dog run

run on home

home to family

home here its safe

dafe from skunk

save from vat

vat with cat
