#13 ... Personification poem. (2 points)

Forgotten

.

I look across the shabby room

Where hopes are scattered

Across the gloom

I wish I could

See the light of day

And be among

Your friends at play

But alas those friends

Are now long gone

And, from plenty,

There is only one

Since you left

And moved away

And forgot about me

Here I stay

With only spiders for company

And their webs for my clothes

I remain here

Forlorn

Till, well, nobody knows

I was once your best friend

We went everywhere

Now I'm just a stuffed toy

Awaiting my end.
