Sandy soil from a
liquid flow, silt building
by a bank of grass
I know, that basks warmly
in an August sun -
a spot I go to hold
bright thoughts as
this day is won, and
such joy abounds
on this portion of lawns
I sit and wish 'till
morning dawns
