Prologue (Brie)

Brie's POV

My sister Stephanie and I had a great freshman year. We won all our soccer games on both teams. We were even in the newspaper. I was class president of the freshman class. Let's just say I got a lot of things fixed at the school. With the help of some the upper class men. The food is way better, healthier, and there are now snack machines with soda and healthy foods like breakfast bars. I had several dinners to rise money to get a gym program where the students can chose what kind of gym they want. There is dance, yoga, competitive sports, swimming and more. All because of yours truly. I also started an environment club too which is really fun and we had so many good projects.

This summer my sister and I got picked to help teach little kids how to play soccer. It was so much fun. Nicole and I also got secret tattoos. They hurt but they look amazing. We were so happy. I wish I could say that about the rest of the summer but, I can't. A few months ago and a week after the camp was over my dad left. He was starting to distance himself a while ago but, now he's just gone. It's really hard on all of us. Sometimes I'm sad and other times I don't know how to feel. I try and talk to Stephanie Nicole about it. She gets really mad anytime I say anything about it and she yells at me for feeling sad about what happened. I have so many questions. Why would he leave us now when we need him most. I'm just glad we are starting school soon so I can be sophomore class prez and play soccer and get this all out of my head.
