3rd person POV:
Outside the tower, Misaki, Gray, and Juvia were hanging onto Index who struggled to keep everyone in the air.
Index: So...heavy...!
Her weight limit was far exceeded leaving the four to slowly float down.
Gray: Hold on little buddy!
Juvia then creates a platform of water where the other three could stand on.
Index:(panting) Finally....! I'm so hungry...
Misaki: What was that?
Gray: Some kind of charging for magical energy... But it wasn't to blow up the moon...
Gray: So what was it for...?
Misaki: I hope Touma and Erza are alright in there.
Gray: I'm sure they're fine.
(Meanwhile)
Moments later, after the light died down, Erza who was on top of Touma to protect him, stared at the Illusion slayer who stared back.
Erza:...
Touma:...
Touma: How's your magic?
Erza: Low...
Touma: Then rest. I'll take it from here.
Erza: No. You need my help.
Touma: I know I need help... But-
More golems appeared.
Qliphah: Okay, we can continue now.
Qliphah: Oh! And congratulations Papa Illusion slayer~!
The artificial demon's voice echoed throughout the building.
Touma: Erza, take a break, I'll handle this!
He struggles to his feet.
Erza: No, I will! You're injured, so rest.
Touma: I'm sore. You're almost out of magic.
Erza: I said... REST!
(PUNCH)
Touma:(GRUNTS)
Having enough of Touma's self-sacrificing ways, Erza knocks him out cold with a punch to the gut that made him slump down to the floor.
Erza: I'll be the one to take all the injuries of victory today.
Erza:(mind) I'm low on magic, so I need to choose my next requip carefully...
Erza:(mind) What could help me in the long run?
Looking at Touma, Erza then gains inspiration for what to requip into.
Erza:... Requip!
Light consumes her, as she switches outfits. When the light fades, the rocks that Qliphah was possessing saw Erza in strange attire.
She wore long red baggy pants with a yellow flame design on the lower part.
Her upper body had nothing but bandages wrapped around her chest.
With her hair in a ponytail, Erza wielded two katanas at her enemy.
