3rd person POV:

Hoteye was holding her own against Erza until a cage of ice was formed around him, which confused him long enough for Misaki to use the bit of magic she had regained to put him to sleep.

Everyone then regrouped at the Pegasus ship which would need a few hours of repairs before it could fly again.

The team then decided to rest to regain their magic, but that was short-lived, as the ruined town they were trying to rid the dark guild of, lifted off from the ground with six tube-like legs and began walking away.

Gray:... Who wants to bet Touma is on that thing right now, cursing his luck?

(Opening theme)

On the now walking town, Wendy, Carla, and Touma look around in confusion.

Wendy: Is the town walking away?

The only clues the three had to go off on, were the town's rumble with every loud thud they heard along with the scenery moving bit by bit.

It was a good guess on the dragonslayers part.

Touma: Go find the others...(grunts)... I'll stay here and wait.

Wendy: If you're sure.

Carla flew Wendy away as Touma got to his feet to try and find his balance.

Midnight: Found you...

Touma:?

From above, Midnight floated down on his magic flying carpet.

Touma: Right... Forgot about you...

Touma: Hey, do you-whoa!

He almost tripped because of the town moving.

Touma: Do you know what's going on here?

Midnight: This town is actually an ancient weapon. One of the first sages' creations.

Midnight: But who cares about that? Right now... You and I will battle!

Touma: What rotten luck...

As Midnight was in the middle of casting a spell, Touma leaped forward to try and end the battle with a single strike, but the rumbling of the town, and on top of that, his injuries, Touma tripped and instinctively grabbed the flying carpet that was on eye level.

Upon contact, an unnatural warping sound occurred as the carpet lost its magic.

Falling forward, Midnight accidentally sent his attack downward, luckily for him, that was where Touma was.

Sensing the danger, Touma twisted his body around and lifted his Imagine Breaker.

He missed hitting the spell directly, however, the bell began traveling down his arm, like a blade sliding down the side of another blade during a clash.

The spell then passed his elbow and hit the ground causing it to collapse.

Touma and Midnight then tumbled down into the catacombs of this town-shaped weapon.

Wanting to grab something to stop his fall, Touma grabs the closes thing to him, Midnight.

With Imagine Breaker making contact, Midnight was as powerless as Touma.
