Tossing left and right on the bed and feeling bored is not a foreign feeling from me. It is the weekend and I'm here alone and lonely. Every weekend feels the same and honestly, I feel sick to my core because I feel like I'm missing something, or maybe,

someone.

Getting up from the bed feels harder than I thought it would, but I decide to go out for the day and enjoy myself in the sun. My foot steps swiftly to the bathroom and I briefly freshen up myself for the day. Putting on my sunscreen and applying some natural, light makeup while listening to the same classical music that have been playing since yesterday. I gently tie my hair into a lower bun and wear my baggy pants with my crop top.

Just as I finish, my phone rings throughout the room. Running towards my bed, I sigh. Roughly rummaging through the duvet and throwing all the pillows on the ground, I finally found my phone.

"Lysa."

I answer shortly while I tossing all of my important stuff into my bag.

"Yes, I know it's on Monday. You don't need to remind me, Seth."

I reply to him hastily and distance my phone from my precious immediately when I heard him nag me with my schedule.

"Yes, on Monday I have a fitting appointment and Wednesday a magazine shoot. I know all of them, Seth. No need to nag me. I want off for one day. Bye."

I abruptly hang up and jogs downstair, reaching for my keys with an apple. Locking my front door, off I go to the city. I love New York, the concrete jungle. Let's not talk about the other side of New York. Let's just focus on its beautifulness that makes me fall in love with buildings.

Tossing over the leftovers of the apple in the dustbin, I walk to the nearest coffee shop and proceed to order to my usual one. I sit at the corner of the shop near the glass, watching over every person who walks by me. Trying to guess their life one by one.

Once I am done, I walk out of the shop and stroll along the block, watching the once empty road get busier every minute. Suddenly, a tall figure with his long black coat, leaning against one of shop wall catches my brown eyes.

He gently light his cigarette with a match and wave it softly to put off the fire on the match. Nowadays, who uses matches? I stop my steps and watch him intently. He looks familiar, but I couldn't pinpoint where last I saw him.

All kinds of feelings surge through my body, making me feel nostalgic or the right word sad? Why am I sad? A light tear slowly runs down my pale cheeks. My body freeze to the ground as I struggle to breathe.

The world stops when our eyes met, and I swear I have seen him somewhere, but where? He looks taken aback when he sees me, but eventually smiles at me. Why does his smile looks so painful? It makes my heart ache the more I see him there.

He leans off the wall and walks towards me slowly. His pale blue lazy eyes scan all over me and when he finally stands in front of me, he says,

"You've found me."
