I was sitting with the boys in what apparently was Apollo's temple. He wanted us to use it to get ready for the wedding since the girls had Aphrodite's room. He even stayed with us as we got ready which really made me nervous since he was a god but honestly, he was pretty laid back especially since he made sure he looked like a teenage boy. Apollo actually seemed more worried about his appearance was than me even though all he had to do was sit in his throne and play some music as Atlantia walked down the aisle.
"Relax, Blaise." Harry said wrapping his arm around my shoulders. "Come on all you are doing is standing there as the love of your life walks down the aisle before you each say the vows you wrote for each other. It's not hard."
"Says the guy who did not get married in front of actually gods." I say giving him a teasing smile as I wrestle myself out from under his arms.
"True but I still got married in front of a family of wizards so it was still a nerve-racking experience." Harry said before chuckling, "I'm not doing good with reassuring you but what I was trying to say is that all today is solidifying that you and Atlantia will be together for forever. You two have been together for years already and own a potion shop together so this is a fancy party to make you two officially a married couple." I smile at that.
"Yeah, it's about time you two made it official." Apollo said grinning as he played a few notes on his ukulele, "You know how difficult it was to listen to Aphrodite whine that her daughter has not married that boy yet? That was the hardest year of my life and I've been around a while." That made me laugh. I continue to chat with Apollo and the rest of the boys who were the groomsmen. Harry was my best man though I asked Draco first but he told me it was better for Harry to be it because although he accepted Atlantia's choice, he still loved her and felt it would be awkward to have him as best man. I disagreed but I honored his choice since he was still part of the wedding.
Eventually it was time for me to take my place at the alter so I allowed for Apollo to lead us down the golden paths that paved way through the beautifully sculpted temples and sculptures. I remember that Atlantia told me that her friend Annabeth had designed most of Olympus after the Titan War and I was impressed. It was so regal and impressive but also holds a classical feel while still being modern. However, I was soon pulled from my admiring when we arrived at the gardens. It was spectacular. The garden was teeming with different flowers, fruit trees, bushes, and some mythical looking flowers that I am sure only grew up here. The garden's natural look was not the only thing making my jaw drop to the ground. The gods had been in charged of decorating the garden and they did not disappoint.
They had dancing lights moving around in the air above the garden that produced an elegant glow to the whole wedding. There were beautifully crafted silver chandeliers that I believed Hephaestus made. Then there were the thrones for each of the gods and goddesses who were attending. Each one was crafted with the god and goddess in mine making them look really impressive. The rest of the guests' seating wasn't skimpy by any means. The chairs were a beautiful white with a small jewel border at the top of the chair.
"Wow," I turn to see Mrs. Weasley. She and the rest of the guests were entering the garden and were all amazed at how stunning it looked, "This is so incredible."
"I know." I say smiling, "The gods outdid themselves with their designs."
"What would you expect if their last child was getting married?" Mrs. Weasley said smiling, "I was glad we were able to give Ginny the wedding of her dreams with Atlantia's help." I would have continued to chat with her but one of the satyrs that were the ushers told me the wedding was about to begin so I made my way to the front of the crowd where the alter was. Hera was officiating the wedding since she was the goddess of marriage so she wanted to be the one who marries her daughter. From what Atlantia tells me, Hera is usually bitter because of her husband's unfaithfulness but today she was beaming uncontrollably and I didn't blame her. I was almost certain I was going to have tears when I see Atlantia walk down the aisle.
The music began to be played and I watched as the bridesmaid and the grooms walked down the aisle. We cut the mother of the bride walking down the aisle because there were so many so the wedding began with the bridesmaid and grooms before the maid of honor and the best man walked down the aisle. Few minutes later my cousin walked down the aisle carrying the rings stopping at Harry and Ginny to hand them the rings. Then the flower girl who was also my cousin since Atlantia didn't have anyone on her side and said it would be good to have my family participate. My mother and I weren't on good terms but we were mending our relationship which is why she was here at the wedding but it didn't mean we were on the best of terms. Finally, I hear the wedding march begin to play and I see Atlantia in her gorgeous white dress. It held a regal look but also some playful aspects since it represented her siren heritage. Down the bottom half of the skirt, I could see tiny little shells that faded into a wave of small ruffles.
Because only one father could walk her down the aisle, Zeus took the role since he is the King of the gods. He led her to me and I felt my eyes water as the veil was lifted to see her beautiful eyes shining in my direction. I was barely aware of what Hera was saying as she spoke to the crowd because I was so absorbed in her eyes but luckily I came to when Hera was telling me to say my vows. I cleared my throat before speaking.
"I am in awe that I can stand here before you in front of our friends and families to express my love for you. You are a courageous, selfless, and kind woman who always puts others before yourself even to the point of putting your life on the line. While it has scared me sometimes to see you be so brave and selfless, I wouldn't change that part of you. I treasure everyday with you because each day you brightened my world. I vow to always be by your side through the pain and the joy, and the hardships and prosperities. I vow to support you through the moments of weaknesses when you recall the memories of your past. I vow to always love you Atlantia Brooks." When I finish, I could see the tears in her eyes before I turn to Harry for her ring. I slip the ring onto her finger before stepping back as Hera tells Atlantia to say her vows.
"Blaise, when I first met you, you were the rock that I needed in my life. You helped me return to myself after a tough time in my life. With your gentleman ways and your joking manner, it guided me to a happier time in my life. You are such a kind man with a loyal heart to your friends. You protect me even when I am not there and I am so thankful for that. I vow to always protect you when you need it but also to allow you to protect me since I know I don't always like to do that. I vow to always be there for you through your pains and sorrows but to be supportive through your accomplishments. I vow to always be thankful for the moments we get to have together and to bless you with all of me. I vow to always love you Blaise Zabini." Atlantia said with tears falling down her cheeks but I knew there were tears falling down mine. She turns to Ginny and takes the ring and slides it onto my finger. When she steps back, Hera smiles before saying,
"I now pronounced you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." I turn to Atlantia before stepping forward and slamming my lips onto her. With the cheers from the gods, goddesses, and all the friends and family, I melted into Atlantia's lips feeling like the luckiest man in the world.
