Dead Body

Next day. Morning.

I walked downstairs into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. Nick, Seth and few others had locked themselves into Nick's office. Apparently there was more behind the dead body last night.

I took a sip of my bottle when i saw Seth walking into the kitchen.

Me "Seth"

He looked at me, annoyed "what?"

Me "You were in there with Nick for hours. what's going on?"

Seth shook his head "I don't see how that is any of your concern"

I raised an eyebrow "Are you serious?"

Seth nodded "yes"

Then he walked out to the pool.

I looked after him and growled.

Fernanda walked into the kitchen and asked worried "you okay?"

I nodded, not looking at her "yes. But what's wrong with him?"

Fernanda "I stopped asking myself that since I realized that I couldn't care less"

I nodded "you should ask him what's wrong with him"

Fernanda grimaced confused "no?"

Me "or you could get your brother to ask him and let him handle the aftermath"

Fer nodded "sounds great"

I nodded "But what the hell was that last night?"

Fernanda leaned against the kitchen counter "De verdad, no tengo idea"

( for real, i have no idea)

I looked at her.

Fernanda "you should let Alpha Nick handle it"

I shot her a look "yeah, mhmm. Where is he even?"

Fer "in his office"

I nodded and walked to the door "okay"

Fer "but he's in a meeting"

Me "not for long"

Then i walked upstairs and to Nick's office.

I knocked on the door.

Nick called out "come in"

I walked inside and closed the door behind me.

He was still in a meeting, great.

Nick looked at me.

Me "I need to talk to you"

Nick nodded and looked at the two werewolves in front of him "dismissed"

They nodded and walked out.

Nick was sitting behind his desk. It was a big ass desk.

He looked at me "Cataleya, how are you?"

I crossed my arms over my chest "That body from last night, what was that about?"

He shook his head "i don't know what you are talking about"

I shook my head "don't. Don't dare acting like nothing happened. "

Nick "i can't tell you anything, Cataleya"

I nodded "You will"

Nick "and why do you think would i do that?"

Me "Because that werewolf you found dead last night? He belonged to my pack."
