Dead Body

Next day. Morning.

Cat walked downstairs into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. 

Rafe, Seth and few others had locked themselves into Rafe's office. Apparently there was more behind the dead body last night.

She took a sip of my bottle when she saw Seth walking into the kitchen. Meant that their talk was over. 

Cat "Seth"

He looked at her, annoyed "what?"

Cat "You were in there with Rafe for hours. what's going on?"

Seth shook his head "I don't see how that is any of your business"

She raised an eyebrow "Are you serious?"

Seth nodded "yes"

Then he walked out to the pool.

She looked after him and fetched her fangs. 

Fer walked into the kitchen and laughed when she saw Cat's fangs "you okay?"

Cat nodded and put her fangs back. 

Fer followed her gaze and nodded "ah, Seth, i understand"

Cat looked at Fer "what the hell was that last night?"

Fernanda leaned against the kitchen counter "De verdad, no tengo idea" ( for real, i have no idea)

Cat nodded unimpressed "Well, no one seems to know anything at the moment"

Fernanda "you should let Rafe handle it. He's got it handled "

Cat shot her a look "yeah, mhmm. Where is he ?"

Fer answered confused "in his office?"

Cat nodded "okay"

Fer "but he's in a meeting"

Cat shook his head "not for long"

Then she walked upstairs into to Rafe's office. 

She banged on the door before letting herself inside. 

Rafe looked up to her. 

Cat "i need to talk to you"

He nodded and looked at the two betas "leave us "

The two nodded and walked out. 

Rafe was sitting behind his desk. 

He looked at Cat " how are you?"

She crossed her arms over her chest "That body from last night, what was that about?"

He shook his head "i don't know what you are talking about"

Cat shook his head "don't act like nothing happened last night."

Rafe leaned back in his chair "well, what did happen last night?"

Cat growled "Rafe "

He growled back "i can't tell you anything, Cataleya"

She nodded "You can"

Rafe nodded "and why do you think would i do that?"

Cat "Because that werewolf you found dead last night? His name was Alberto Flores. He belonged to my pack."

He looked at Cat surprised.

She shook her head, scoffing "don't pretend you didn't know. You saw the tattoo. You know he was one of mine"
