At the infirmary.

The guys had carried Eiza into the infirmary and put her on the bed.

I was still in shock that Eiza was actually alive.

Eiza was moving around in pain.

She was in shock.

Nick "Doc?"

Doc "The girl's-"

Me "Eiza. "

They looked at me confused.

Me "her name's Eiza"

Doc nodded "okay. Eiza is in pain. She's dying. It's the transition that's killing her"

I looked at Eiza.

She was suffering.

I looked at Nick with a look.

Nick nodded and looked at everyone in the room "Everyone, out now!"

They nodded and left.

Seth looked at Nick.

Nick nodded "you too"

Seth froze "but-"

Nick flashed his alpha eyes at him.

Seth walked out, slamming the door shut behind him.

Nick looked at me "what are you gonna do ?"

I bit in my wrist and held it in Eiza's mouth, forcing her to drink my blood.

Nick asked confused "Cat?"

Then I broke Eiza's neck.

It went silent in the room.

Nick "you're turning her. Cat, are you serious? You don't even know if it's gonna work with her already being in transition because of what Gomez injected her "

Me "she will wake up, Nick, okay?"

He sighed.

Moring. In the infirmary.

I was alone with Eiza.

She was till knocked out on the bed.

I heard the door open and close.

Someone was here.

Nick "she's been out for 10 hours now. if she was going to wake up the- are you even listening?"

I just kept looking at Eiza.

Nick sighed before kneeled down next to me.

He just looked at me but I looked at Eiza.

My voice cracked "She- She's the first one I've ever turned"

Nick froze.

I nodded, keeping looking at Eiza "I swore to never turn anyone into the monster I am. But when I saw her... I don't know I just – I – just panicked"

Nick nodded "She'll wake up"

Me "but you just said that you don't-"

Nick "She will"

A tear rolled down my cheek "she has to"

Nick took a deep breath "you should get some sleep. Take a nap. "

I shook my head "I can't"

Nick "Cata-"

I shook my head "no"

He put a hand on my thigh "hey "

I looked at the hand on my thigh before looking at him.

Nick "I'll let you know the second she wakes up, okay? I promise. "

I nodded "okay"

He smiled softy.
