Broken Neck

At the infirmary.

The guys had carried Eiza into the infirmary and put her on the bed.

Cat still couldn't believe that Eiza was alive and here. 

Eiza was moving around in pain.

She was in shock.

Rafe looked at the doc "Doc?"

Doc "The girl's-"

Cat "Eiza. "

They looked at her confused.

Cat's voice broke "her name's Eiza"

Doc nodded "okay. Eiza is in pain. She's dying. It's the transition that's killing her"

Cat looked at Eiza. 

She was suffering.

Cat bit her lip before looking at Rafe who understood. 

He called out "Everyone, out now!"

They nodded and left.

Seth looked at Rafe .

Rafe nodded "you too"

Seth froze "but-"

Rafe flashed his alpha eyes at him.

Seth walked out, slamming the door shut behind him.

Rafe looked at me "what are you gonna do ?"

Cat looked at Eiza for a second before biting in her wrist and holding it against Eiza's mouth. She was forcing her to drink the blood. 

Rafe watched her confused "Cat?"

Cat broke Eiza's neck and that crack killed something in Car. 

The room went silent. 

Rafe  "you are turning her? You don't even know if it's gonna work with her already being in transition because of what Gomez had injected her "

Cat looked at Eiza. 

Rafe snapped "Cat"

Cat looked at him "she will wake up"

He sighed.

Moring. In the infirmary.

Cat was alone with a still unconscious Eiza. 

Someone walked into the room. Cat didn't even bother looking up. 

Rafe "It's been ten hours now, Cat. if she was going to wake up the- are you even listening?"

Cat just kept looking at Eiza. her face showing no emotions. 

He sighed before kneeling down to her. 

Cat had her legs up to her chest and her chin was resting on her knees. She had been watching Eiza for the past ten hours. She wanted to be there if something happened...or if nothing happened. 

Rafe looked at his mate. He could see she was in pain. 

He said softly "talk to me"

Cat looked at him in tears "She- She's the first one I've ever turned"

He nodded. 

Cat nodded, keeping looking at Eiza "I swore to never turn anyone into the monster I am. But when I saw her... I don't know I just – I – just panicked"

He nodded "She'll wake up"

Cat looked at him confused "but you just said that you don't-"

Rafe "i was wrong. She will wake up"

A tear rolled down her cheek "she has to"

He took a deep breath "you should get some sleep. Take a nap. "

She shook her head "i can't"

He sighed "Cata-"

She shook her head "i can't"

He put a hand on her leg "hey "

Cat froze at the touch but then looked at him.

Rafe "go take a shower, get a round of sleep, i'll let you know if anything happens. I promise"

Cat nodded.
