A couple days later. At the training area .

Cat walked over to Rafe with her water bottle in her hand, yawning "the sun isn't even up yet"

Rafe eyed her amused "good morning to you too"

She looked at him "why exactly am i doing here ?"

Rafe "you make a good fighting coach "

Cat shot him a look "you just wanna watch me kick your brother's ass again, don't you?"

He smirked "maybe"

Cat looked around and found Seth training with Eiza. 

Rafe "they were the first ones here. He's helping her cope with her new strength"

Cat watched him "Yet he is winning even though she's way stronger"

Rafe "she'll beat him once she can control her strength"

Cat nodded. She felt goosebumps on he skin because Rafe's chest was pressed against her back. 

Seth managed to beat Eiza before pulling her in for a kiss. 

Cat smiled at them sadly. They had grown quite comfortable with each other.

Fer walked over to her alpha "Rafe, you have a second?"

Rafe nodded and walked away with her. 

Cat looked after them for a second before turning to watch Seth taking down Mike. 

Suddenly a voice appeared from beside Cat  "Mike's letting him win"

Cat looked to the side with a raised eyebrow.

A girl with dark brown her and green eyes stood there. 

Cat eyed her before looking back at Seth and Mike "Let me guess, Veronica?"

Veronica nodded "mhmm. The speech you held the other day. It was impressive"

Cat "you didn't buy it, huh?"

Veronica shook her head "not for a second"

Cat shook her head "i meant every single word"

Veronica "we don't lie in this pack"

Cat shook her head "I don't lie"

Veronica nodded "my alpha does though"

Cat looked at her confused.

Suddenly they heard Seth whistle "Cataleya, you want a round two?"

Cat turned to Seth, caught off guard "what?"

Seth pointed his water bottle at her "you and me. Let's go"

Veronica started to smirk. 

Cat walked over to the mat "you want me to break the other arm? Or maybe a leg now?"

Seth chuckled and threw the bottle off the matt  "you can try"

Cat nodded "go"

Suddenly he attacked Cat.

Cat moved to the side and kicked in his kneecap. 

He gritted his teeth while falling to his knees before grabbing her ankle and knocking her to the ground.

Cat coughed out as her back hit the mat.

Seth wrapped his hands around her throat and started to choke her.

Cat clawed at his arms while gasping for air. 

Seth growled "try beating me now, hybrid"

She gasped for air.
