Phone Call

At Fer's room. Later.

Cat sighed "Listen, Fer, I know it's against the orders but I have to use your phone"

Fer shook her head "if I get caught then –"

Cat  shook my head "you won't"

Fer shot her a look. 

Cat sighed " I'll tell him I stole it, I promise"

Fer shook her head. She was fighting with herself.

Cat pleaded "They are my family. I am begging you, Fer. Put yourself in my position, what would you do if it was Camillo ?"

Fer thought about it before shrugging "I would let him rot out there, if I am being honest"

Cat looked at her unamused. 

Fer sighed "but I would also want to know if he's okay. If he's at least breathing"

Cat nodded "See? please, Fer"

Fer thought about it "if I get caught – "

Cat shook her head "you won't. I promise"

Fer let out a deep breath before handing her the phone "I'm gonna go to the kitchen and grab a snack, okay? Whatever you're doing in here is on you. Make that call count"

Cat nodded and Fer walked out after unlocking the phone. 

She looked at the phone and smiled as she saw the background foto of Fer and Camilo.

Cat dialed Eiza's number but she wasn't picking up.

She froze confused before calling her brother. 

It rang. 

It rang again. 

Cataleya was starting to get worried.

He picked up "Del Rey?"

Cataleya let out a shaky breath "Nacho?"

It went silent. 

Nacho asked surprised "Cata?"

Cat smiled a little "hey, big brother"

Nacho breathed out relieved "oh my god, where are you? Are you okay?"

Cat nodded "Yeah, I'm okay, I am safe. What happened? Why isn't Eiza picking up her phone?"

Nacho didn't say anything.

Cat asked confused "Nacho?"

Nacho sighed "She got caught in the crossfire. I-I. i couldn't"

Cat asked confused "what do you mean "got caught"?"

Nacho "it happened at your engagement party. it all went down so fast and-"

Cat raised an eyebrow "what happened at the engagement party?"

Nacho voice cracked "She's dead, Cata, lo siento" 

(I'm sorry)

Cat's stomach dropped and she shook her head "no, no. She can't be dead. I mean, your joking. Tell me you are joking"

Nacho asked worried "Where are you? I can come get you-"

Suddenly the door behind Cat opened and someone cleared their throat.

Cat whipped the tears away before she breathed out annoyed and turned around "I gotta hang up"

Then she hung up.
