Training

A week later.

The air between Catelya and Rafe was tense. They have barely spoken a words to each other since their escalation a week ago. She wasn't exactly burning to talk to him either but she was relieved that her and Fernanda got closer.

Cat knocked on Rafe's office door. 

Rafe called out "Come in"

She walked in and closed the door behind her.

The tension was thick. 

Cat didn't meet his eye "You sent for me?"

Rafe looked at her for a second before nodding "I have a pack training today. You're coming with me"

She asked amused "join you? I am allergic to working out"

He shot her a look.

She looked at him "why do you want me to come with you? you wanna trap me between your betas and drain my blood?"

Rafe thought about it before nodding "Sounds tempting. But there's no way I am leaving you alone in this house while everyone is 5 minutes away on the training field"

Cat "i don't want to go"

Rafe "i don't care"

on the field.

The guys were working out. Fer and her were sitting on a fallen tree watching the other betas train. 

She watched Seth combat fighting another pack member and winning. 

Seth walked over to his water bottle to take a sip from it. 

Rafe looked around "who's next?""

He looked at Camilo

Camilo shook his head while lifting his hands "look somewhere else "

Cat lifted her hand.

Everyone looked at her surprised. 

Fer hissed, whispering "what are you doing?"

Cat stood up and looked at Rafe. 

Seth smirked "finally."

Rafe shook his head "no"

Cat raised an eyebrow "you dragged me out here to train...now let me"

Rafe looked her before nodding. 

Cat smirked and got onto the mat. 

Seth stepped on to the mat. 

Everyone was watching them . 

Seth was the first to throw a punch but Cat managed to dodge it while also grabbing his wrist. She pulled the arm down and jumped on to his shoulder and wrapped her legs around his neck. 

Seth rammed his claws in her thigh and she cried out and she fell onto the mat. 

She looked up at him while her eyes turned black. Then she kicked his leg in and he fell to his knees gasping while she grabbed his arm and angled it up so he would break his own arm if he'd move. 

Rafe called out  "enough"

Cat looked at Rafe out of breath, her eyes were still black and her fangs were out. 

Seth groaned out in pain. 

Rafe gave her a warning look. 

Cat looked back down at Rafe before slowly twisting his arm. The bone was rotating against his shoulder. 

Seth cried out in pain. 

Rafe growled "Cataleya"

Cat fetched her teeth at set "that was for drying me out in a cage!"

Then she pulled the arm like a lever and Seth let out a painful cry. 

Cat snarled "that was for the choker"

Rafe yelled "Cataleya"

She looked at Rafe before letting go of Seth's arm "i won"

Seth was on the mat crying out in pain. 

Everyone looked at him. it was gonna heal in like an hour or so. 

Seth groaned out "you fucking bitch"

Cat stepped off the mat.

Rafe "breaking his arm wasn't necessary"

Cat "neither was that choker he put on my neck. "

He looked at her for a second, understanding that Cat was only getting even with his brother. 

Seth stood up, gritting his teeth "where did you learn to fight like that?"

Cat looked at him confused "i am an alpha's daughter, of course he'd show me how to fight"

Seth looked at her. 

Cat "We're even"

He looked at her.

Cat looked at Rafe who was looking at her. 

She snapped "what?"

Rafe shook his head
