The Arena

Dusk. At Gomez's mansion.

They got out of the car and walked to the entrance. This place was filled with all kinds of werewolf scents.

Rafe put a hand on Cat's lower back and pulled her against him. He did not like her being her at all but he also knew he couldn't say no to her. Even if, it's too late now anyway. 

Seth looked around "they already know we're here. "

Cat looked at him. 

In the arena.

The bleachers were filled with werewolves from different packs. Weaker packs, of course.

The group sat down on a bench.

The cage was in front of them. 

It reminded them of the gladiator fights back in the old days.

Gomez walked into the arena with a smirk. 

Cat tensed at that. 

Gomez looked at the pack smiling  "Welcome, Welcome, to this special night."

Some werewolves cheered.

Gomez chuckled "I've invited you all here tonight because I wanted to share this special evening with you all"

Cat looked at him confused. 

Gomez "Tonight, I present you a fight neither of you have ever seen before. A fight that's gonna go down in history. "

Nacho whispered confused "the fuck is he talking about?"

Gomez "tonight isn't going to be a usual beta against beta fight. It's going to be a fight between alphas"

Cat's eyes widened and the audience started to whisper to each other. 

Gomez "and I am proud to introduce to you the first fighter .......Antonio del Rey"

Cat's jaw hit the ground as two of Gomez's betas brought Antonio into the fighting pit. 

Nacho cursed under his breath "the fuck"

Antonio looked weak and bruised. 

Cat went to stand up but Rafe grabbed her hand and pulled her back down immediately. 

He leaned over to whisper into her ear "do not even think about doing anything stupid, Cataleya"

Cat held back a stupid comment. 

Gomez "and I bet you are all dying to know who he's gonna go up against, right? Well, his rival is standing right in front of you. I, David Gomez, am going to fight Antonio del Rey in this cage. "

Cat felt like she was going to get sick. 

Gomez smirked "and you all know the rules. Two go in, one goes out"

Nacho looked over to his sister who looked back at him. 

It was clear who would go out of the pit alive. 

Cat stood up but Rafe grabbed her hand. 

She sighed "i have to pee"

A lie. everyone knew she was lying. 

Rafe shot her a look. 

She shot him one back. 

Rafe looked at Eiza who stood up at the silent command. 

The two girls walked out of the room.

Eiza and Cat were sneaking through the mansion.
