"Mom, I'm going to go tomorrow! I can't leave Sapphire there for two more days!" My mom shakes her head, "No, Thomas, you aren't going to go! You aren't ready!"
"Yes I am! Mom, I need her here!" Her eyes fill with tears, "What don't you understand? If you die and save her, what will she have? There won't be any use of you going on a suicide mission." I twirl the dagger around my fingers then throw it into the dart board-bullseye. I look at my mom, "I can protect myself but I'm going for my mate with or without your consent."
"Thomas-"
"No I'm sick and tired of sitting around while my mate is in a fucking coma! I'm not going to let her die!" Tears start streaming down her face and my dad runs out of his office hall, "Lex, what's wrong?" She runs outside and my dad looks at me, "What did you do to your mom?"
"I just told her that I'm going to rescue Sapphire. Dad, you'd do the same thing if it was mom, let me do this for my mate." He looks at the sliding door then mutters, "I'm going to get in so much trouble." He looks at me then nods, "I'll talk to your mother about it. Just go and see your mate." I smile then run off, down the hospital hall, then into Saph's room. Tiana must've been in here because her nails are painted light blue and her hair is neatly brushed. I sit next to her, grabbing a hold of her hand, "Hi baby. I'm coming to get you, okay? Just hold on for me, I'll be there by tomorrow, I promise. I love you and I want you to have something, in case I don't come back. I slip the locket from my jeans pocket and opened it, "It says, 'T+S Forever In Love'. Keep it safe and wear it for me." I tuck it into her hand, kissing it softly, "I love you Sapphire. If I don't come back, just know that you were the best thing that has happened to me and look inside the closet drawer with the black X on it. It's for you and you can wear it if you want or keep it as a memory of me." I let go of her hand slowly, pressing a kiss to her forehead before I stand up and walk out of the room. Get ready, bloodsuckers, I'm coming to get my girl back.
