Why do I hear a beeping near my ear? Did Thomas set an alarm? My eyes open and I see Tiana, Ashton and Luke standing around me. Tiana smiles, "Welcome back, Saph."
"Thanks Tia. Where's Thomas?" She exchanges a look with Ashton so I sit up, "What happened? Where is he?"
"Sapphire, Thomas had to go and get you from a vampire who kept your spirit hostage. He hasn't come back yet and Alex went to go look for him." My chest tightens and I struggle to get out of bed, "I have to go look for him. He could be hurt!" Ash holds me down but I struggle under him as I cry hysterically, "Let me go! LET ME GO!" Tiana grabs my hand, "Sapphire, Sapphire, you have to calm down or you'll go into shock. Thomas is going to be okay." I look at her and she nods, "He's going to come back for you." I lift my hand to rub my eyes but I notice something in my fist. I open my hand and a silver locket is sitting in my palm. I open it up and it's a picture that Tia took at his party, "T+S Forever In Love. He's such a romantic." I smile then slide it over my head; it rests perfectly against my chest. "LUKE!" The doc runs out of the room and Tiana grips my hand tightly as Ash runs out after Luke. "Tiana-"
"Shhh, he's going to be alright. Guess what happened while you were out." I raise an eyebrow at her and she squeals, "Cole asked Annie out. Oh, it was absolutely adorable. He was like all nervous and blushing, he even gave her a flower. Annie said yes of course but you know Nik, he got all protective. It was honestly the cutest thing ever." I smile then Luke runs by my open door then Nik and he's carrying...Thomas. "THOMAS!" I start crying when I see his motionless body and the blood running down his hand and neck. I pull at the IV in my arm but Alex runs in, grabbing a syringe and stabs it into my arm. I feel my body get weak and I slump against the bed while my eyelids get heavy. I remember whispering Thomas's name before completely blacking out.
