Sapphire
"What if he gets mad? I mean, I hid my pregnancy from him for 2 months." Thomas interlocks my fingers with his, "He's your brother, he can't hate you for this." I nod then my brother walks through the door with Harmony. I wave him over then he sits in front of us, "What's going on, sis?"
"I need to tell you guys something." A look of concern washes over my brother's face, "Are you okay? Are you sick?" I shake my head, "No it's good news or I hope you'll take it as good news." He nods and I squeeze Thomas's hand tightly, "I'm pregnant." Harmony squeals, "Oh my god! How far along are you?"
"2 months." A flash of hurt crosses Mark's face and he hides it but I reach over, placing my hand on his, "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I've just had a lot on my mind and I should've made the time to call you and tell you. I'm sorry Mark."
"It's okay Sapphire. I don't care that you haven't told me, I'm just glad you did." I smile and I pull my hand away but he grips onto it; it's my left hand. "You're engaged?"
"Thomas proposed 2 weeks ago." He smiles then Harmony grabs my hand, "Oh my god, this is beautiful!" I thank her then she asks, "When's the wedding?"
"We don't exactly know yet but we want to do it before the baby is born. Hows the wedding planning going for you guys?"
"We've got everything done, dresses and tuxes are ready but I don't know if we'll need to alter yours." I shake my head, "I don't think so considering the wedding is in 2 months, my stomach shouldn't be too big." Harmony nods then Mark asks, "Sis? Since I can't do the mother and son dance, do you think we can do a big brother and little sister dance?" Tears fill my eyes, "Of course, that would be perfect." He squeezes my hand then the rest of the day is spent talking about weddings and babies.
