"Look at that girl. She think she the shit now" Darius laughed as Emoni pulled back up to his house, driving my car I let her take to the store
"Her ass better not get too comfortable"
"Nigga whatever" Darius looked at me "you got that girl spoiled"
I shook my head while she walked over to us with a bag in her hand
"Okay now that I drove to car I can fuss at you" she said as she handed me the keys and the sprite I told her to bring me back
"Bout what?"
She put her hand on her hip
"Why did you and Ana break up?!"
Darius looked over at me "what?"
"Who the hell told you some shit like that?" I asked her
"Everybody know. My friend Cierra told me her cousin heard from his babymomma that work at the mall. Something about how Ana got out your car and went back in the mall about to cry and you drove off. And I been cursing people out for the past couple of days telling them y'all ain broke up so you BETTER tell me y'all ain broke up forreal"

"No. We just took a lil break but that shit Ain nobody business so tell yo friend cousin babymomma stay out my business with her lame ass"

"So is my sister in law coming to my graduation tomorrow or are you tryina ban her from family events too? Cause if so.. y'all can just stay home and she come"

"I almost forgot I had her number.. lemme text her real quick" emoni pulled her phone out her back pocket and started to text Ana "And she better not be say she gotta work tomorrow cause I'll burn that store down"
