"What the fuck" I cursed as I looked at my test score from the test I just finished taking while I was on break. I scored a 96 but still... I knew every answer so something wasn't right. I closed the laptop and got up, leaving the back of the store and walked over to trin who was straightening the shoes on display
"I made a 96"
Trin smiled "congratulations"
"No. That's not a congratulations. I knew every answer so that ain right"
"Obviously you didn't"
I made a face at her and she laughed "oh my gosh, cheer up. You made an A.. stop being so hard on yourself"

"I know that. But you need to stop. You act like if something goes wrong your whole life gone fall apart"
"I'm just so ready to be done with school Trin"
"You'll be done in December. You already know you graduating so chill. Take some time to stop and smell the roses now"
I got quiet for a second before talking again "Dre's birthday is Saturday and he don't wanna do nothing"
"Why not?"
"I don't know... well I know he'll have his daughter but still. He don't wanna go out, he don't wanna cake.. nothing"
"Well just find something chill to do for him. Have a movie night with y'all three or something"
"Ima think on that... you spoke to your baby daddy today?"
"I was on FaceTime with him while you was in the back. He at his babymomma house"
"Which babymomma?" I asked before laughing and trin sucked her teeth
"The new one girl... then she left him there with the baby for a couple of hours while she just left"
"She left? Ain that baby just turned like a week old. She can be out like that?"

"He told me that he mentioned it to one of them. That one that's foreign"

I looked as well and saw Reese walk in. He walked straight to me and I just looked at him
